Interested to see how this develops.
If the reported 55-45 split is the issue, its not an easy fix. Golovkin is not getting 45% of the money for this fight.

This is killing boxing.
The fight along with the Ward fight could easily have been made. I'm tired of explaining it to you salties.
GGG. Accept. Caneloweight.

They could be asking for more money
He did it because they know at this time Canelo looses this fight and they don't realize even in defeat Canelo would have looked bigger and better than the way he looks now, which is like a chicken.

Whatever floats your boat man. The difference between you and I is quite simple really. I like GGG and Ward both

But who knows what exactly they are thinking at this point. This is actually one of the gayest moves I've ever seen in boxing if Canelo doesn't fight GGG next for or not for a belt. I'm hoping their is some logic at this move, but idk. I just wanna see the fight I could give a f#ck about all the drama.

Well ****. Can't say I didn't see that one coming. We all know what it's really down to though, weight.
Neither side is going to budge over the weight issue and Canelo has vacated to stop the WBC trying to enforce the 160lbs limit.
Canelo's team have made their terms clear, fight him at 155 or don't fight him at all.
It's a risk calling GGG's bluff, relying on the fact GGG's so desperate for the payday and exposure that he'll go to 155. Because if he doesn't, Canelo's reputation will take a big hit.

If he's going to have a few more 155 fights, GG could well get to Saunders and Jacobs first, potentially owning all of the MW belts.
Again, where does Canelo go when the CW's run out and his body can't keep up?
The Cotto/Smith/Brook fights are potentially big money fights, and so are Jacobs/Saunders/Eubank..... Canelo will make far more than Golovkin, no matter who he fights.
If money is the issue, then what other lucrative options does GGG have ?
Nobody would pay Golovkin even half-as-much as Canelo.
You can't use money/options as an excuse.
If Golovkin has been willing to fight Ward, then he would have as many options as Canelo..... but he wasn't willing to fight Ward.
