He got in shape, was clean, and signed to fight a more experienced guy in his home country.
You are some really sick individuals. Povetkin cheated and yall are trashing Wilder.
You guys were really looking forward to seeing Wilder on his back, too bad Povetkin didnt think he could get him there without a little help.

People hasd the idea wilder never wanted to fight poov in first place so this seemed like a perfect situation for wilder.
The only scenario I see is POV paying for training expenses of wilder. But its the public who need reimbursing

Wilder should be compensated.
It's real simple. We entered into a binding contract under good faith and agreed upon the terms of the deal and to act in an ethical manner and abide by the rules of the governing body of the WBC. Wilder had to pay for sparring partners, trainers, gym time etc. Wilder incurred cost based upon a valid contract that was to be honored in good faith. Povetkin and promotional company violated the terms of the contract by testing positive for a banned substance which lead to fight being called off/postponed. Not a matter of opinion he's due some compensation. Even if fight is delayed he has to pay sparring partners longer to stay in camp so he's due additional compensation for their failure of the other party to meet terms of contract based upon a specific time line. This is different that an injury this was a willful attempt to not honor a binding contract through nefarious behavior.
