Malik Scott is a garbage fight, they might as well not bother if that is true. There aren't really many fights that are going to be available for Joshua in July, I think the only possible one I would pay for would be against Ortiz. Even Stiverne would also be better than Scott, but he cannot surely face someone who has already been blitzed by one of the other top guys in the division.

Apart from that, Frank Warren really needs to stop talking about Matchroom/Sky as he always comes across as so amazingly bitter. Just be happy that you have your own world champions and work at getting them the best fights for the BoxNation viewers. They're also doing a good job at bringing top fights to the channel like Canelo vs Khan, Wilder vs Povetkin and now Fury vs Klitschko II.

Sky Sports reaches pretty much every ear that matters (sports fans aged 18-60) through the Sky Sports News (online and on TV) and adverts during Premier League matches (and a host of other sports such as Cricket, Rugby, Tennis, F1 etc etc). They have the casual's ear.

Boxnation has Franks column in the Star newspaper (i think?) and adverts on BN which only a handful of homes subscribe to. Biggest plus for them is the coverage that Fury gets just by being Fury, but i dont think that will be enough

Going head to head will hurt both networks ratings, and I think it is silly for Sky to go down that route, but they will do better than Fury vs Klitschko IMO
You're right. I didn't even know there was a boxing channel until I was flicking through the Sky Guide, and even then you can only get the channel in HD by subscribing to Sky's HD service, which is a waste of money if you never watch Sky in the first place.

After all the talk about breaking into the American market I can see it being one of Malik Scott, Stiverne or most likely, Eric Molina who just won the IBF int belt.

Malik Scott would be the obvious choice for Eddie.

No power, limited skill, no heart. He'll turn up for the payday, not to win.

Hearn is just a troll, and Frank rises to the bait every time. im going through a period of self examination after actually finding myself feeling sorry for Frank.

So Fury must have some pulling power, and once he gets that mouth going, people will forget about the relatively cagey affair they had the first time.

Which also wasn't as bad as some people say. I think it was a decent fight.

Rather watch that than watch Joshua spank someone in the first round if i'm honest.
I'd much rather watch Fury/Wlad 2 too, if only the first 4 or 5 rounds to see what Wlad has in him. And I didn't say Fury didn't have pulling power of course he does. Heck, he was a draw back in his channel 5 days.

But both those PPV numbers you posted, I doubt they are real. Where is the source?

Hearn mentioned it in an interview with IFL TV this week. And last time they said Joshua pulled 400k vs Dillian and it was said Fury did about double that.

Obviously they are reported numbers, as Sky don't release figures. But Fury vs Klitschko was reported as one of the best PPV events sky has done.

And it was in Germany. So maybe it would have done better if it was in the UK and also it was postponed which didn't help I think.

There isn't a single source out there to suggest Klitschko-Fury did those numbers, so where are you getting them from?

Don't believe a word from Hearn. There is noway AJ v Whyte did as many buys as Mayweather v Berto, in a far smaller market. That's not happening.
