Tell Klimas, his two fighters Lomachenko and Kovalev can't sell out their backyard for a fight so he needs to take the short end and keep it moving.

This post would actually make sense if Walters was actually a star, as opposed to some nobody who was considered insignificant enough to get jobbed on the scorecards in his last fight against some pissant prospect who has no real future or upside in boxing.

Ward was offered the fight at 168, two years ago and said no. Ward then came back two years later trying to make a fight when he hadn't weighed 168 in those two years. They were willing to rumble with Ward at 168 so let's stop pretending it wasn't ward who walked away when the fight was doable.

Also, how many fighters get pressured to take on a fight and they never do? Canelo fought Lara because he wanted too not because he was pressured. He went against the Oscar's will who was pleading not to fight Lara. And I am indeed a GGG fan, but I'm more a boxing fan and I'm unbiased. To say GGG is above canelo or any other P4P fighter when his toughest fight was lemieux is ridiculous and di.ck riders like you should wait until he fights the tough fights before declaring him next P4P king. There's literally no difference between GGG and Jeff lacy who at one point was the terror of the div, up until he faced stiffer competition and we all know how that ended. Actually Kirkland got stopped in the 2nd minute of the 1st round.bhe wS dropped in the 1st 20 seconds of the first round.

Take the short end to a guy in Walters who can't draw and doesn't have a title because he lost it title on the scales?

If Walters still had his title, this fight probably wouldn't have as much of a problem getting HBO to come up with the money.

Loma and his team get the bigger picture. Risk 300k because they are 100% they'll be victorious and also because this is a fight that can catapult them to bigger money fights. GGG and his team can learn from this. Saying fighting ward is going backwards because they won't make a ton of money- a smart team know that by fighting and beating ward, the bigger purses and fights are going to follow...that's unless you're unsure about your chances of winning the fight..

of course, they're unsure. Big difference between Ward - maybe the top lb 4 lb fighter in boxing when he's active and Walters - a good fighter, but nothing special
