I wouldn't be surprised at all if he fails to come in at 155 one of these times (whether it's Khan or if he takes another fight after).

USADA is **** and utterly corrupt. They shouldn't even be in the discussion.

You are using a fight that consisted of two well known fighters that did 13k on the night of the event as a comparison. Golovkin's fight is already over 11k in ticket sales with an entire month to go, knowing full well a majority of the tickets get sold within the days leading up to the event. It is also against a mandatory opponent that very few people know of. I mean no disrespect, honestly, but your points make no sense.
The Forum, according to wikipedia, has a stated capacity of 17,500; using your own logic, and with Golovkin being as big a star as they want to have people think, why not stage the fight for 17,500?
Because, after two months of selling tickets, they only recently got up to 11k tickets and, if faced with needing to have a walk up of another 6k tickets sold, in the final month for Golovkin-Wade (oddschecker has the fight at 33:1, with some places going as far as lay things at 100:1), they likely wouldn't have been able to sell the story of Golovkin being this massive draw without cutting down the price of those $30 tickets.
The map is available on ticketmaster; you can pretty well track how long it takes for the tickets to be sold (re-sellers I'll ignore for this conversation, though, with re-sellers present, those tickets haven't really been sold to anyone going to the fight yet either).

The great Marvin Hagler stayed at middleweight his whole career, i dont get why GGG gets critisized for it. I dont believe in you have to to be multiple weight class champion to be a great fighter.
If K2 had simply kept the push to "we have a fighter who will go down as the best middleweight fighter to ever put on a pair of gloves", there'd be no criticism of Golovkin (though he'd be looking at conquering a division facing a dearth of name talent).
Hagler's aim, from what has been written about him, seemed to always be "if you wanted to come and see me, I'm at 160". Maybe K2 should've stuck to that same tact.

And, when Alvarez can no longer make 154, he still has fights against David Lemieux, Curtis Stevens, and Tureano Johnson (all decent enough guys who are with Golden Boy).
The point of "tarnishing a reputation" is further off then it'd appear; you add that, with Alvarez arriving at the full 160 as the divison's biggest star, the money conversation is going to get a lot uglier.
That 90/10 talk from Oscar may have seemed to be hyperbole at first, but there's no viable reason why Alvarez should ever split a pot better than 85/15 with anyone; if Golovkin's camp balks ("... i've got all of these belts; I should get more than that"), Alvarez can simply move on to the next fight or even to whomever has the WBO 160 belt at that point.
Golovkin would already be 35 years old by Cinco De Mayo 2017; after the extensive amateur career, that shouldn't be dismissed.

Wow only 4 pounds over 30 days out?? That's crazy. He could obviously make 154 even if he shouldn't have to.
He's gonna be giving away huge amounts of weight come fight time if he ever moves to 168.

This explains why GGG is a 160 pound fighter. He is only 4lbs out and can remain strong and eat and hydrate as he pleases. This is the smart way to train, at 164-166 he'll spar at his best. He will make weight 4 to 5 days out from the scale then re hydrate to 168-70 for fight, loose 5 to 6 pounds over the duration but remain in condition throughout the night.
No extreme weight loses or gains to be concerned with over the course of a career. Thats how its done correctly. Same thing Mayweather & Hopkins did throughout! Other than Bernard not being able to get to 160 after a while he weight managed very well.
