People who DKSAB call it running, if you have never boxed you'll never understand it

I get laughs when people talk about a fighters physique, power, speed etc.....it all means nothing if you dont have proper footing. Foot work gets you in a position to hit, defend, slip, slide and reset

Most people dont know **** about boxing, have ever laced up a pair of gloves or even sparred a few rounds but want to call the most important part of the sport running.

Boxing isnt rock em sock em robots...if you dont have good footwork you wont be a good fighter regardless of style or temperment.

real trainers train from the feet up, thats how Merhav Mohar taught me and thats how I will begin with my stable

How come I never see this guy in the Crawford/Postol threads? Oh wait, too late doe. Those threads have been there for weeks and you chose to hide yourself. It's too late now.

    Don't you like Postol?

I am a fighter myself, have fought amateur and spar pro fighters at my gym. Retreating away from combat is cowardly, what kind of man backs away from another man, specially inside a fight ring?

It is cowardly, there is no other way to put it.

HOWEVER, you can box while going forward. You can be smart when attacking. You can keep your ground by fighting in the center of the ring. But calling running backwards "boxing" is a disguise for being scared and a coward.

everybody is a gangsta until they get hit in the face

ive seen it a million times on the amatuer and pro level.....keyboard warrior or so called tough guy puts on a pair of gloves to spar a novice boxer

they never make it out of the first round.....if they do, 9/10 they want to continue boxing or become a member of the gym

if you have great footwork you have the ability to defend and execute offense going forward, backwards, on a pivot or laterally

tactically, it is ****** to stand in front of someone who has to be set to punch...why fight their fight...thats not being brave, its called being ******

When you need to run to the other side of the ring and rely on clinching, that's not boxing nor skills.

lame.....how can someone who runs and clinches as much as some posters say, have the time to OUTLAND his opponents and get HIT LESS? I already see what side of the tracks you reside....Dont know **** about boxing
