Bbbut bbut but that's not fair lil G isn't allowed to fight someone who knows how to "run" these casuals are the reason lil G is irrelevant he already ducked Andre Ward and he will likely duck Canelo that fight with Canelo could have happened in May If he wasn't such a *****.

As far as the clinching a grappling, you'd have hated boxing from 1890s-1930s

most of the boxers were wrestlers too and grapplng was more prevalent in the sport then.
I wouldn't call Mayweather's position against Maidana in either fight dominant.

Things have changed a lot since the old days; including rules & the use of 10oz gloves.

How you going to segue into a conversation about Golovkin? How dare you, sir!? Not moving up to Ward nor down to Canelo is cowardly, but Ward not moving down & Canelo not moving up isn't? How dare you indeed, sir!?

Using the ring is a skill in boxing. If you don't like it than maybe the WWE is better suited to your needs.......

When you realize that just a couple of pounds can make a huge difference you will realize that it's smart business rather than cowardly. Moving down in weight can be much tougher than moving up..........

Depends, but both can be disadvantageous. Moving up in a short period means most likely putting on fat and water weight. It takes time to grow muscle. So if one moves up, one will likely be weaker than the person that is already at that weight. Moving down can be draining, if a person is already at their optimum natural weight, because muscle catabolization can occur. But what if the person is a little chubby, and can stand to lose a few pounds? That person may be able to shed some fat & water, without sacrificing much muscle.

I am very much aware of the pros and cons to gaining or losing weight. I'm just wondering how you throw the word coward in there so easily.......

I was responding to Dirk's reference to Golovkin being a coward for not moving up for Ward nor down for Canelo. My argument is how can GGG be called a coward for not changing his weight for them, yet not so for Ward & Canelo if they don't change their weight for him?
