I'm just saying that he didn't do enough to win. I haven,t seen that fight in a long time but I remember Leonard running like crazy and Hagler stalking him. Leonard did connect some punches but Hagler's punches were the ones that did more damage. Anyway.... I was 16 at the time so I could be wrong as I'm more experienced now that I was then (I'll look it up in YouTube to refresh my memory). I have always wonder why Hagler retired after that fight not to be seen again. I wouldn't be surprised if that fight was fixed with Hagler receiving a ton of money to throw it.
Hagler received a ton of money fighting hearns and Duran and there was no throwing of any fight...that's a ridiculous statement because hagler was eaten up by the loss to Leonard .....hagler would never never have thrown a fight again this arch enemy Leonard ...never in a million years .......look you were 16 and I was just behind you by a year...I won money on the fight and I've seen the fight over 100 times and yes in my views Leonard out boxed him....the rounds Leonard won were clear and the rounds hagler won were clear and if u add them up Leonard won 7-5 or 6-5 and 1 draw....Leonard clearly won 1,2,3,4,6,10,11..hagler won rounds 5,7,8,9 and 12 at a push...hell even the 5th round Leonard was winning just up to the 2nd minute of the round...u need to rematch it my friend....boxing is scored on rounds 10-9 and Leonard won more rounds.....I have never changed my opinion since I first watched it
Leave Khan alone... He gives us daily jokes to keep our moods light!!!
Thank you Amir Khan... Without your comedy every day i would never laugh out loud!!
The reality is you aint sugar ray leonard. Leonard was on another level in terms of skill and toughness. And canelo aint marvin hagler, marvin was in another league in comparison to canelo. Leonard also fought a diminished, faded, well past his prime marvin, while you are facing a prime and steadily improving canelo. Leonard was smart enough to never face marvin in his prime. And although canelo aint no marvin hagler, you facing him in his prime may very well backfire. If canelo becomes a relentless pressure fighter the night you face him I see you getting stopped in brutal fashion. Just depends on what version of canel shows up.

Leonard got knocked out by Camacho, so just imagine what Khan would do.
And Khan would've been way too fast for slow, plodding, flat-footed Hagler.
