He has to do something to try and draw this into a slugging match, because in a boxing match Martin is second best in every department

I fear Martin maybe killed. He is so poor incomparrison to Joshua it is almost frightening.

Ha ha, just like Dirrell did to DeGale, in the states.

You should have some money on Martin though if you really think he can do it.

The odds are too long, Martin has an outside chance, but the bookies are giving like almost 5 to 1

Joshua by ko in 6 or less

Are you aware that AJ is an Olympic gold medalist?
He can box, and has extremely good power. Not sure how you`d label him not a great slugger - he`s won them all by stoppage.
I like Wilder, but he is far less silky than AJ.
              Fury is the overrated one.

Yeah, he only went out and whitewashed Wlad in Germany. What a phoney.

''AJ is the next coming. Future HW world champion''

                  Post fight
''Martin still ain't beat anybody. AJ is a big, stiff bum who went tooth and nail with Dillian frickin' Whyte''

Both guys deserve respect win or lose. Neither had to take this fight and both are risking a lot.
BTW, you heard it here first, Dillian Whyte is a very good HW. He would be a very good test for many of the so called `top`guys.

I think that is a very good name on AJ`s resume.

AJ wins this before the halfway mark - doesn't mean Martin is nothing. Those who argue about cherrypicking and protecting of records, you can`t have it both ways - keep respect for guys who lost their 0. Used to happen to all the top dudes back in the day: Hagler, Leonard Hearns etc all fought each other and hurt their record - but no-one batted an eye. Fans got to see better matches, and fighters were still respected, despite a loss or two.

What are you basing that on? Because nothing in his resume indicates that at all. He might turn out to be pretty good or he might be another Chris Arreola, dominant against a certain type of opposition but consistently failing at the top level. It's just too early to tell at this stage.

Whyte's still young enough to carve out a decent career for himself, in which case the win will start to be seen in a more favourable context, though guys with that lackadaisical work ethic tend to fall short at some point, no matter how talented (and Whyte isn't close to someone like Solis for example).

I`m basing it on a few things, but I take your point about slack work ethic (I didn`t know this was a trait of his - but it will hurt his career if fact).

I believe Joshua will go on to a massive career, and therefore Whyte`s decent performance will be seen in a better light.
He showed a good chin, a must for any HW, his movement was good, he can ****, and has decent defence.
He reminds me of Chisora, only quite a bit better.
