What the hell does this essay has to do with what I said?

You know what the issue is, Canelo seems to be afraid to fight men of his own size and acts like a spoiled little ***** when he actually has to fight them. That dude and his 155 pounds demands are a joke, and anybody with brain knows it.

Spare me this A side, B side bull****, If he was confident in his ability he would be fighting a MW right now in order to prepare for GGG, not Amir ****ing Khan.

Okay, that's your opinion and I respect it, i'll write 2 sentences instead of an 'essay' for the short attention spanned. The fact is that basically, accept the catchweight or he can go **** himself.

• He was willing to move up a full weight division to fight Chavez or Froch because he BELIEVED he would win, but he would not move up that same amount to face Ward cause he DOESN'T BELIEVE he can win.
  
• Hes willing to move up a full weight class to face Bernard Hopkins cause he BELIEVES he will win.
  
• He was willing for a catchweight against Rosado, you know why? he BELIEVED he would win, but he would not face Canelo at a catchweight because he does not BELIEVE he will win.
  
• He was willing to drop a full weight class to face Pacquaio or Mayweather cause he BELIEVES he would win

You see the pattern, its clear as day! GGG has absolutely no issue fighting at catchweights or even jumping full weight classes or dropping full weight classes if he BELIEVES he can win, its when he DOESN'T BELIEVE he can win is when he has an issue against it.

Mmm, na, not really, it's already been done before him. On top of the fighters I have already mentioned, and the examples of ATG's i've mentioned, also Leonard brought down WBC 175 champ Lalonde to 168 and fought for both the vacant WBC 168 title and Lalonde's WBC 175 title. SRL's career ended up just fine, he had already fought Hall of Famers and he didn't have to prove his toughness in the sport anymore.

The issue is that he eventually needs to move up and to drain himself for a middle weight title makes no sense.

Golovkin weighed 165 at 30 day weighin in his last fight. Him moving up isn't an issue because he has no problem making 160. I think it's funny people demand for him to move up when he makes middleweight with ease. Fighter like Danny Garcia is a perfect example of "having to move up a weight class" because he spent almost two years fighting phony catchweights above junior welterweight. Eventually Danny will fight a real welterweight and get sparked the fk out.

Okay, we will see, if Canelo/GBP offer them a fight and they decline because they don't want to fight below 160 limit, we will see if the WBC compensates the crybaby B-sides that don't want to play their B-side role like everyone else. Worse comes to worse and WBC uncharacteristically disciplines Canelo by stripping the belt from him despite making an offer to K2, it will still be a Winky Wright moment for GGG for missing out on a huge PPV, big money, and a chance to move up in his career. So he gets the vacant WBC title and continues his 160 run, yeah then what, it will mean absolutely nothing in his career. Any top contender can get a title nowadays, there's 4 titles, it means nothing. The fighters make the title what they are. Canelo winning the title from Cotto will mean a lot more than GGG getting the title handed to him like when he fought Milton Nunez or whoever it was that got him the WBA belt, Nilson Julio Tapia, who the hell really cares, it was a hand out.

1 belt may be nothing (according to forum posters, not fighters) but 3 is something. If some of them come via forfeit, its almost as good. That's several lineal champs that felt they had no chance at all. Won't hurt his standing as #2 draw in America, after Pac and Cotto retire

And Leonard got a lot of **** for CW in that fight too. He also had fought and beaten other ATGs, Canelo fought only one and got utterly embarrassed in that fight.
