Lots of people would have beaten that version of Canelo on that night, I think Lara would have possibly KOd that weakened version of Canelo. So probably not the best game plan for Khan to follow, he could pick up more useful pointers from the Lara fight.
If Cane was over 28 years old - maybe - but he was 22/23 - no affect, he chased Floyd around that ring for the full 12 - if he would have let up, the victory would have been more pronounced - anything to diced it Floyd is hilarious! Khan lacks the patience to execute the type of getting plan to beat Canelo! In what ways has Canelo gotten better since the Floyd fight?? At the negotiating table - that's about it - he still can't cut the ring off, he still does not apply effective pressure - Canelo gets you by making you think he is slower and by his sheer size ! He us denser than GGG - and can make 155 due to his age! Wake up - he is still very very young, he can get away with things his older opponents just can't physically do

He didnt look weight drained to me and sources suggest he was 165 pounds when he actually got in the ring, so I dont think that is a valid excuse. Send the current Canelo back in time to fight Mayweather and the result would be exactly the same.

With your ******ed anology, this means breidis Prescott put the blue print on your glass jaw.a boxer can gain experience, adjust, and become a better fighter with time, but there's nothing you can do for that brittle chin.London bridge is falling down ,I put that on a red head Mexican.

Floyd has a chin though, Amir.

Mayweather would still beat him, he's just that good.

I don't think it would be exactly the same though, Canelo would do better, especially at 154. He was 22 when they fought, he's now 25 and has been in with Lara and Cotto. I see a massive improvement from the version of Canelo that fought Trout/Mayweather to the one that beat Cotto, both in terms of skill and physically.

Both Mayweather and Lara have provided good "blueprints" for how to fight Canelo, however Mayweather and Lara are far superior boxers than Amir Khan! Amir needs to "stick and move" like Lara, yet know how to neutralize Canelo with his back to the ropes like Floyd did.

mayweathers defense was so good vs canola that alvarez fail to land even one telling blow on mayweather can khan duplicate that ? highly doubtful khan has already been KO'ed 3 times has canola ever been down ? i don't know

Khan comes out with the shoulder roll, suddenly everyone has flashbacks of Berto-Guerrero. Canelo gets a mini-boner at realizing this fight is going to be easier than expected.
