If he wants to look at any game plan, he should probably look at Lara. Do that but throw more combinations and run again.

What's the point in following Floyd's game plan when you can't do what he does. It's like Malignaggi going in and fighting like Maidana.

Floyd would beat Canelo at any weight, he's just a stylistic nightmare for Canelo. Just like Lara would probably be a nightmare for Canelo, he just didn't throw enough and ran far too much

Khan lacks the patience to execute the type of getting plan to beat Canelo! In what ways has Canelo gotten better since the Floyd fight?? At the negotiating table - that's about it - he still can't cut the ring off, he still does not apply effective pressure - Canelo gets you by making you think he is slower and by his sheer size ! He us denser than GGG - and can make 155 due to his age! Wake up - he is still very very young, he can get away with things his older opponents just can't physically do
He's better defensively, more patient, more accurate with his shots, better combinations, better footwork, better upper body and head movement movement, better counterpunching ability. I mean he's clearly improved in many areas, I think he learned a lot from that Mayweather fight, even though he was weight-drained which made him slower on his feet and more sluggish with his shots.

He didn't beat him because he was faster or can punch hard, he beat him because his skills and ring smart. Second-- canelo is not the same fighter that fought Floyd 3 years ago. Every fight he's fought since then, he's improved and his IQ has grown.
That's pretty much sums it up.Floyd's IQ and dedication to the game are second to none. That's why he beat everyon he fought. Sure they're was faster guys and stronger but none better...

2nd Canelo is miles apart better than when he fought Floyd. And that lop sided fight taught him a lot. For one he's actually in much better shape! He is more solid and lean. Before he was kind of pudgy and soft. Everyone knows how bad he used to eat junk food and such. His head movement is WAY better than it used to be and his hand movement has improved a bit.

Canelo still can't cut off the ring to save his life. He has decent foot movement/placement on the inside but has TERRIBLE feet movement when he has to go after the other fighter.

Khan will be winning on the scorecards but will get KTFO around 6 or 7 round.

He was definitely weight-drained, sluggish with shots, slower on his feet, slower reaction time, lower punch resistance. The weight definitely made a difference, he said himself after the fight that it was a mistake going down to 152. He's improved in many areas since that fight too, subtle improvements in lots of areas as mentioned in last post. He's just a better all round fighter than he was back then, it's pretty self-evident in my opinion.

Good idea by khan to follow the blueprint of canelo's previous loss. The only problem is Canelo has a better chance of following Danny Garcia's blueprint to ko khan than Khan has of being able to follow mayweather's blueprint.

He didn't make Maidana look slow and sluggish because Maidana wasn't weight-drained, and Berto didn't look slow and sluggish, the post-shoulder surgery Berto too. Floyd's a good fighter no doubt, but Canelo was weight-drained in that fight and it was the weight-draining which played a huge part in Floyd's dominating performance. Nobody was expecting Floyd to do that, I even had it down as his best performance initially, until I realized that weight-draining definitely played a part in the outcome.
