Echo'ing what most have said but for me it's Whitaker or Pacquaio. I lean on Whitaker but both are legends. Would have been an epic fight had they ever fought.

I'll give an honourable mention to Saldivar who I don't believe has been mentioned yet.

Does Michael Moorer deserve a mention?

          I wouldn't say so.

Then again the list candidates is quite limited.

He's obviously no where near the upper echelons of southpaws across boxing history.

Do you know much about Lew Tendler IDH? I was watching the Leonard-Tendler 1 the other day and that guy could fight

              Of course.

Lew Tendler was a tough cagey southpaw with power. Hard to judge that era because of so many Newspaper Decisions, plus the competition in general as hard to judge. But by all accounts Tendler earned his way to title shots at both Lightweight and Welterweight against Leonard and Walker by beating top guys at the time.

Many felt he did enough to beat Leonard the first time, hurting him in the process. I believe there's footage of that fight.

He lost clearly though to Walker and in the return.

Good fighter for sure but not on the levels of the Pacquaio's and Whitaker's of the world.

Tiger Flowers is another good southpaw.

Stop lying. Whitaker beat Julio Cesar Vasquez for a jr middleweight title with no catchweight. That's far more impressive than Pacquiao beating Margarito who did absolutely nothing above 147. There goes your "I always give fighters credit" claim.

You clearly don't know what you're talking about. Again.
