When you have 2 options, and you choose the one that brings in less money and does less ppv buys, then it's a duck.

Why else would Floyd purposely choose to make less money other than the fact that he felt Khan was a risky fight and decided to duck him?

not really; Ghost was the mandatory challenger, but there wasn't really any other marketable fight to consider.

If Khan had defeated Garcia, he would've been the WBA/WBC/Ring champion, on a heck of a run since the Prescott beating, and would've been a UK attraction to boot. Floyd pays the step-aside money, gives Guerrero a spot on his show as chief support, and takes the far more marketable fight.

The only reason the timing is wrong is becuz Khan is in his PRIME!

Do people honestly think Khan could outbox Floyd?

but if he didnt fight and if he ever chose to come back he would be limited to 30 million..do u hear him talkin abou the crazy numbers he has been offered for 1 more fight?? it was a business move..and showtime didnt lose a penny the pac fight covered his contract times 5 lol

And lol at that guy. Maybe Khan woulda beat Berto if he managed to not get touched but he'd have lost to Guerrero (hell...he might still lose to guerrero you never know with Khan) and the Ortiz from the berto fight would have put on a savage beating on Khan. Probably the worst matchup you can think of for Khan (aside from this Canelo fight)

I agree, but to be fair..... I thought that Khan was close to the best at 140, but he has struggled against a number of different styles, and he has never imposed himself at welter.

Considering how the Algieri fight unfolded, the Guerrero who fought Berto would have given Khan hell..... and the Ortiz who fought Berto would have been even worse for him.

People who think Khan can beat Mayweather are tripping. Khan cannot even stick to a game-plan, let alone adapt continually throughout the fight.

You don't struggle with Algieri, and beat Floyd Mayweather.

                  timing/technique/defense > speed..... hands down.

He is going to have his hands full with Canelo.

mayweather just a ***** we all know that.

Power punchers dont scare mayweather at this point in his career its speed that do thats why he chose to figth Maidana twice rather than face khan speed just once.
