floyd has 2 bad fights as far as im concerned since becoming a huge name
the ghost and berto
there is logical boxing reason to fight them, but
there are understandable reasons behind them
he just did jail time prior to the ghost fight..just a basic tune up..even freddie roach stated that he would understand if floyd wanted to tune up after that...
and the berto fight is understandable bc it was his kissing the ring fight basically..just a fight to leave the sport..of course he could have went out with a bigger ****, but he's been ****ing for 20 years now...so he just got it over with..
besides that i like the ortiz fight..hell he was one of my fave fighters and he was mean with floyd..he got wat he deserved but it was a nice fight while it lasted...
There is, was, and never will be, a logical boxing reason for Floyd to have ever stepped foot in a boxing ring with Andre Berto. Absolutely none.
I disagree, I think it was all but guaranteed that if Khan had fought and beaten Alexander in December 2013, he would have gotten the Mayweather fight instead of Maidana. Instead he passed and waited, Maidana beat Broner, and the rest is history. He could have fought and beaten a number of fighters over the past 5 years that would have given Mayweather a reason to fight him. Instead he sat around begging and Floyd had no reason to fight him.
It is purely Khan's fault, because he and his team were scared to take the risk that would have landed Khan that fight.
I dont think Mayweather care who he beats. He passed on the alexander fight because of Team Mayweather, thats how dumb Khan and his team is/was. Beating alexander would not guarantee him a Mayweather fight.
an easy win to get out the game and go..im sure he was hoping for a pac rematch but that clown fake a full surgery as far as im concerned lol
he just did it to fulfill his showtime deal and bow out..i dont mind..hell i ddint have to buy it
he could have bowed out without fighting again. its not like they would have taken his money or thrown him in jail if he didn't fight lol. he just wanted an easy 30 million against an easy opponent. don't twist it like he had to fight. showtime would have preferred that he didn't fight since they lost a lot of money.

I agree, but to be fair, he had just beat the guy everyone said for years he was running from, and did so with relative ease. After that, with only fight left on his contract, I don't mind him coasting with an easy opponent.
