He was/is a really special fighter. It was interesting watching him start as a talented, wild, strong puncher and progressing into a world class fighter as his career went along.
I didn't touch on them in the thread, but i rewatched Pacquiao's losses to Morlaes and Marquez also. Both great fights.
I really enjoyed the Morales trilogy. Rewatching it reminded me of how much i enjoyed Morales's style and career.
It was fun to catch up on some fights i hadn't seen in a while though. It pretty time consuming, but i might rewatch a chunk of De La Hoya's or Leonard's fights next.
i wonder if morales would've been as ready if he never had the marquez fight to go off of.
I also wonder about if Cortez stopped the fight in the first round against Marquez, if there would've even been a rematch. Pretty crazy

I saw someone on NSB say Roach didn't change anything about Pacquiao. If I hadn't noticed who had said it and known to not bother, I would have gone on an unnecessary tirade about it.
Someone posted this on reddit a couple of weeks ago. Shows how crazy it was for Pacquiao to be a force at welterweight in the first place.

Watching Pac trying to force the stoppage here was one of the craziest things ive seen in a boxing ring.
If that's one of the craziest things you've ever seen then you need to watch more.
Go and watch Mosley actually force a stoppage against a way better version of Margarito.

was it really a better version of Margarito, Dan?
his world just unraveled in the dressing room after they found plaster...plus they had been using an inaccurate scale so he actually had to drain himself more than he had to
