Don't know where there brawler comment was addressed but I think everyone knows he's not a brawler, despite sometimes getting into firefights.
Never said that. But saying Canelo is a "come forward fighter" attaches connotations that he's not a boxer first - which he definitely is.

Garcia is also a come forward fighter in that he walks forward in the ring- same as Canelo.

Neither are brawlers, swarmers or whatever you want to call it more than they are counter punchers.

Do you think that enough to keep him out of Canelo?? canelo caught Lara a better mover than Kahn tho mostly to the body and Kirkland power certainly dont stop him.

how do you think Khan gonna win??
I think Lara is excellent and he had a very close fight with Canelo which Lara just won on my scorecard, but it was close. Not sure Khan beats Lara right now at 154, without seeing how he performs at the higher weight. So it's a similar situation with Canelo, it's difficult to know how much of Khan's speed and skills will stay with him at 155.

The main chance he has is to pot-shot Canelo from the outside and always try to stay out of the danger zone. It's basically a pot-shot fight, no more than 1/2 combo, he can't throw 3,4,5 combo because Canelo will time him and probably end up stopping him. It's got to be only 1/2 combo max. Or even just a single punch and move, the way Floyd often does. Potshotting. That's the main chance Khan has to pull off the upset I think.

So what? Khan is a better fighter than when he fought Garcia and he was winning that fight anyway.

I don't expect Khan to win, but the comparison with Garcia doesn't make any difference.

Neither Canelo or Garcia are particularly good. Flat-footed guys with limited power that are vulnerable to movers whose fame outweighs their abilities.

            Better fighter? winning that fight??

that's not winning the fight khan maybe winning rounds by activity alone but Since round 1 i see garcia getting closer and closer to the target, when he finally nailed we see what happen.

if by your standard neither nelo or garcia are parttcularly good then kahn is terrible

I never understood why people said Khan was "winning the fight" against Garcia. He had a good first round, Garcia started timing him a little in the second, dropped him in the 3rd and finished him off in the 4th haha.

So essentially he had a good first round and then Garcia started figuring him out by round two and basically ended it a round later. It's not what you can call winning a fight, if he was well ahead after 6 or 7 rounds and got caught then i might agree.

I'm not even sure Khan is a better fighter than back then either. How would we know? he barely fights and his level of opposition has hardly been good. If you had to point to a point in Khan's career when he was at his best then you would have to say 5-6 years ago, around the time he fought Maidana, Paulie, Judah. He looked much better then until Garcia flattened him. He hasn't done a lot since.

I find this comparison a big harsh on Canelo....I see the similarities to an extent, but generally he's far better than Garcia in every aspect.

People still really under appreciate Canelo's boxing ability and it's improving with every fight. His counter punching is excellent, his defence has developed to being very good, his combination punching is excellent as is his timing....He's a terrific fighter before you even factor in the size and strength.

Canelo is boxer-puncher with good handspeed, timing and moderate stamina.

Khan will stay outside popping canelo with blazing combination but canelo defense and chin will hold long enough until he get closer, time khan then unload powerfull shots. then this fight will be over.

And please think about it... Khan will be packing 10-15 lbs more muscle or fat in the fight night, do you still think he won't lose some of his speed and stamina??
No: Canelo is bigger and far better than Garcia... Canelo also has a jab, that Danny never had...

"Khan was dominating Danny before he got caught!"

Winning two rounds of a 12 round fight and no knock downs is domination? At first they said it was a lucky punch until they watched the fight again and saw he'd been catching Khan with that punch since the 2nd rd. After the Matthysse/Peterson fight they said he would never fight Lucas. Danny was shook! After he beat Matthysse they still didn't give him credit. Head butts. Low blows. People have always hated Danny. The Salka fight is just an excuse.
