But he does do everything better than Garcia imo.
If you think Canelo relies on counterpunching anywhere near the extent that Garcia does then you haven't been paying attention. Everyone counterpunches, that doesn'tmean they are a textbook counterpuncher like Garcia.
Don't know where there brawler comment was addressed but I think everyone knows he's not a brawler, despite sometimes getting into firefights.

Khan just kept making the same mistake against Garcia since round 1, just like he did in that reckless sparring footage before the fight where he was sparring an Eastern Euro middleweight. He was so bessoted with that jab/uppercut combo it became ridiculously predictable. If anyone's interested I'll try to dig up the footage. Garcia timed him because of his predictably (or he just swung for the fences with his eyes closed, which ever one you believe).

I think he'd beat Garcia comfortably in a rematch, possibly by even a 12-0 shut out. One important thing which most people overlook but I believe played a significant factor is that Khan trained himself for most of the camp because Roach was away in the PH training Pac for Bradley. He was actually relying on feedback during a lot of the sparring from his strength and conditioning coach who didn't have any boxing knowledge at all.

Worst comparison I've heard this year...

That comparison isn't new at all, the comparison is really made because both of them like to catch and shoot and that's the biggest similarity the two of them have. Only difference is Canelo is just better and has more tools.

i think he will make that mistake again, maybe fewer this time but canelo will not just sat there receiving Kahn combos. he will get close enough to land effective combos to the body slowing down kahn movement then take him out in the later round

I hear all that. I'm ACTUALLY going roll with Khan. I'm rolling with the underdog to bring his A++ game only because Canelo never uses his size to bully and beat opponents. Since it will be a boxing match I'm gonna go with Khan have an excellent game plan to pull it off.

Garcia-Canelo would be a very good fight to be fair..
Canelo has more skill, but Danny has more heart.

I don't think he'll make the exact same mistake with the jab/uppercut combo, I haven't seen him throw that combo much since that fight. But against Garcia, he kept throwing it so frequently that anyone could have started to predict him.

It's the combo which Garcia caught him with on the first knockdown - the jab, and then the uppercut, leaving himself wide open in the pocket. He kept throwing that from round one, again and again. Became way too predictable. I was even thinking in round one that he better stop throwing that combo because he'll start getting caught repeatedly just like in sparring.

To be honest, I think he would have got beaten by a lot of fighters on that night, mainly because he trained himself for a lot of the camp and he fell in love with throwing the same combo over and over again in sparring. He programmed himself to do that and it was the wrong program. That's what happens when boxers train themselves and don't have a coach supervising them continuously, correcting mistakes.

So what do you think Khan game plan gonna be, staying outside with flurry combos??

Do you think that enough to keep him out of Canelo?? canelo caught Lara a better mover than Kahn tho mostly to the body and Kirkland power certainly dont stop him.

how do you think Khan gonna win??
