I still think GGG would KO Lara with ease the thing is Canelo is just a name sake worthy of fighting.

This is such a risky fight for GGG. If the IBF didn't enforce the fight, he probably would have ducked Wade like all the other top middleweights. Luckily GGG had the balls to fight him and is chasing greatness.

Gennady Golovkin vs Dominic Wade has to rank among the greatest Middleweight championship fights in boxing history. Boxing and it's fans need this fight and I would like to give props to K2, HBO, the ibf and Al Haymon for allowing this fight to come to fruition.

I am definitely planning to make a DVD of it and then go into the video trading block thread and sell it for the best offer. I've been looking at the Mercedes. I can almost see me in it.

I want to see GGG/Lara as bad as anyone, but I'm not at all convinced Lara wants anything to do with actually fighting GGG. Look at Lara's career choices over the past two years. Since losing to Alvarez, he fights Ishe Smith (after he lost to Carlos Molina), then a semi-retired WW in Delvin Rodriguez (who was destroyed by Cotto in dramatic fashion), then another semi-retired WW in Jan Zaveck.

Lara's been fighting guys who flat out suck and offer zero resistance. He's not even trying to fight top-level guys in his own weight class. He could've fought Golovkin's friend - Baysongurov, or Rabchenko, hell Willie Nelson would've been a huge step-up in class for Lara in the last year and a half.

As for people claiming Golovkin's scared of Lara's style... Golovkin didn't have to fight slick-southpaw Willie Monroe who in his 24 rounds in Boxcino and 10 rounds vs Vera, maybe lost 5 rounds total. Golovkin could've opted for much easier style fights with Heiland or T.Johnson who were the other two candidates K2 was looking at during that time. Lara's skill is not likely the factor holding back this fight as much as politics, weight division, and Lara's stink-festering reputation from his fights with Alvarez, Martirosyn, and Smith.

Lol. A decently researched story (that was based on another story published months ago) talking about an actual financial point is not the same as common sense. If you think there's even a 1% chance that Loeffler read that here and reposted it, you're either a typical self-absorbed teenager or a simpleton.

The world doesn't revolve around you and what you do. Other people, especially if they're much smarter and have access to better information than you, will come to the same conclusion.

Plus, good god - this is a rehash of the Ward situation, where Ward went on his 'they turned me down in 5 mins' rant after the Lemieux fight was announced.
