I definitely favor Golovkin, but the fight can get interesting if Golovkin has a hard time hurting Canelo. The problem for Canelo is he fights best at mid range. A range Golovkin us most dangerous at. But he has the handsome advantage and the better defense. Still hard to see Golovkin losing to him fairly tho.

So disrespectful to Canelo. But not surprised by what Bernstein had to say. I'm sure he said the same things about both Lara, Cotto, and Trout when they fought Canelo but it is what it is.

To be so dismissive of Canelo is very disrespectful.

Canelo is improving by fight. He's adding more tools to his boxing game and not just banking on his power. While GGG has an impressive record he has yet to face the best yet not by his choice of course but still Canelo will by far his biggest threat yet.

I can't wait for the fight to happen in September. This is an even fight. Canelo just has too keep proving the haters wrong hopefully one day they will open their eyes

IMO it doesn't happen this year ...Alvarez w/DLH will find a way 2 avoid GGG...

I'm not so certain. GGG at the moment is still a bum beater. A few 'good' fighters too, but that's it.

I just watched GGG vs Martin Murray on television the other day and was farly unimpressed. The judges had GGG winning nearly every round, but I thought Murray did better than what they gave him credit for, and with the hype going into it about GGG being this unbeatable monster and whatnot, I didn't expect it to go no 11 rounds. I think Canelo definitely has a chance of winning. far from certain, but people writing him off like he's the underdog or something are off on some good ****, I tell ya.

Bernstein has seen it all in his day, I think he knows a thing or two about
the sport. It amazes me how every so called expert in boxing says this Golovkin kid is special but the haters don't see it. Same thing with Floyd, Pacquiao, and the list goes on. I knew the first time I saw this guy he was going to be a problem for any MW in the game. We have no idea how good he is, because everyone in the division avoids him.

Down 3 times, loses almost every round, and still not impressed? What do you want? 1-Hit KO in the 1st round? Murray has never been down before if I recall correctly.

Abraham did horrible by comparison against a guy moving up in weight, and was even looking hurt at one point (Murray should have gone for the kill).

We shall see, we haven't seen Alvarez really fight on his back foot either. The only gauge here is one guy wants the fight asap the other guy needs to make stipulations.

Theirs levels to this sh@t : CANELO IS MANY LEVELS ABOVE GGG/DDD

Experience you gain from fighting elite fighters in the biggest stages of boxing, is simply PRICELESS!
Improving in every fight , becoming a well rounded fighter, the total package. Fighting elite fighters with all styles. Facing top talent & showing greatness.
                      -CANELO HAS BEEN DOING THIS^

Hand picking opponents who are mid-level ,talent wise at best on small stages in who knows where will only get you so far, that's what you do with young prospects coming up. Hardly any improvements have been made in all facets of the game. Avoiding top talent on the big stage.
                      -GGG/DDD has been doing this^

ABEL SANCHEZ a few years back ; " at my gym we don't have gym wars , we try and give eachother good work, but out of everyone who has sparred with Gennady , CANELO did the best."
19 year old CANELO did this^
                      IMAGINE NOW!

-CANELO HAS THE REP IN THE RING AND ON THESE COLD STREETS FOR FIGHTING ANYONE ANY PLACE ANY TIME!-

-GGG/DDD HAS THE REP OF BEING A BUM HUNTER WHO DUCKS THE BEST
