Is there anyone on this board who does not recognize that the people on here who complain about to many belts are complaining about this tournament because they don't want to see Ortiz vs. Fury. They're even suggesting Fury drop his belt after fighting Wlad instead of facing Ortiz. There is now a protection force around Fury. They don't want to see him face tough competition. They want an easy road to Wilder. They know Wilder is vulnerable while Ortiz is the real deal. Fury and Ortiz are possibly #1 & #2 in the heavyweight division and Fury fans don't want to see them fight.

This is right! Fury wont take part in this if ortiz gets past ustinov IMO.

When has Fury tried to duck Ortiz? What about Fury has even suggests that he would duck anyone?

chagaev is regular & Ortiz interim... regardless it is ******! Chagaev is the #1 & Ortiz is the #2. So why are they not fighting to see who gets the winner of Fury/klitschko? It is a joke Browne & Oquendo are owed shots at a title that doesn't exist. The WBA is a joke. there was really no need for this torney. Just get rid of interim & regular crap & make them fight it out for a mandatory shot at the super duper champion...

My only question is why Chagaev even got a shot at the regular title after losing to Povetkin for the same exact title, which Povetkin in turn unified with the super title in his loss to Wlad (not to mention Chagaev also lost that title himself to Wlad in the first place). It'd be less of a joke if he wasn't involved. This "regular" title keeps reappearing after it gets unified with the super title. Who's to say we won't have Chagaev, Ortiz, Fury or Ustinov fighting for this same exact title down the line? As long as they dispose of it afterward as opposed to recycling champions who did nothing to earn a shot, I'm all for this.

He shouldn't be in any tournament. The survivor should have to face him as a mandatory.

the only difference is that fury will be ordered to face the interim champion before he faces the regular champion instead of the other way around.
