Or how about GGG just takes the belt and become the full-WBC Champ instead.
I love how Delahoya thinks that GGG is chasing Canelo as if he were Floyd Mayweather himself. He is not. He wants the WBC belt first and foremost. The payday against Canelo is secondary. If he was desperate to get paid, he would have conceded on the catch-weight, except he doesn't need to do that in order to get the WBC Belt.

Let me just put in perspective when you give Kirkland 27% of the purse split and offering the other champion of the division... who is considered the man of that division and offer them 10% then it smells like a duck...
Can you imagine the **** storm that GGG will get if he offers Ward 10% at SMW... and yes GGG is the A side now if he fights Ward. 150k pvv > 400k BET views.
