If Kovalev beats Pascal, Stevenson, and Ward he'd amass a FOTD-worthy resume in the span of 1 year.

Most def. It's a big mofo IF but beating those three, he'd set an example for other champions (although that excludes anybody from the Haymon stable).

Why all of the negative comments? Duva sounds like everything's moving along to make the fight happen. I didn't read one negative word from her on the subject in this article.

For Kathy Duva, purse bids are fine, it could be done with other boxers from her promotion house, but for Stevenson it's a NO NO, she refuse. By saying Kovalev is under an exclusivity contract, she's suggesting HBO were rejecting their participation to the purse bid, when in facts she didn't even ask her previous TV boss nor the new head chief, Peter Nelson.
Look! Kathy Duva, who lobbied for this purse bid last year, labeled Haymon as an “obstructionist? By presenting herself to the WBC convention in mid December 2014, asking the WBC President to make the winner of the WBC Diamond belt, mandatory to Stevenson. Therefore, Sergey Kovalev TKO Jean Pascal on 03/15/2015, and following the WBC regulation about the free negociation period, the WBC ordered the purse bid for April 17, after (33) days. Even if Sergey Kovalev pulls out the purse bid on 04/15/2015, while he was a free agent, the WBC decided to wait until Kovalev re-signed with HBO on 05/18/2015 and reset another purse bid for 05/29/2015, which Team Kovalev turn down again for a second time.
In December 2015, Al Haymon says OK it's all good, "You have a new TV boss but you still refuse to setup a purse bid for your fighter, (I hear you); Therefore, instead of the purse bid, lets make the TV work together". Kathy didn't even tried to ask her HBO Sport president Nelson, she just rejected the idea with a (I don't want to hear it).

- Why would she refuse to only talk about the option of connecting the TV together with Mr. Nelson, if it's a solution for everybody to make good money, and avoid an HBO breach of contract; Why rejecting all options ?
- Does she really want this fight to happen or she's talking about it, only to sale the Kovalev-Pascal 2 ?
- In June, it's Barrera for few $ or Stevenson for major $$$$$$, she needs to stop playing poker cause she's the only one bluffin; I wonder if she realize it ?
