Canelo probably won by 2 rounds at most...I think the judges were way off and I think it was a passing of the torch kind of thing and it probably didn't help cotto that he was stripped of the title....belts go hand in hand with champions and doing what cotto did probably sealed his fate with the judges....cotto will retire and he has nothing left to give.....canelo on the other hand has fast hands and great punch placement but he moves like he is stuck in mud....slow feet and ponderous .....golovkin will murder him if they fight

Like everyone else said, scores were absurdly wide. It was a close fight. That's what happens when you don't pay your sanctioning fees apparently.

I feel this was a decent warm up for the real fight people want to see, Canelo vs Golovkin. Yeah the Cotto fight was cute, they almost wanted to hurt eachother, but the real fight where pain will be delivered is GGG vs the Ginger. 15 days, we'll see what happens.
