Neither Cotto nor Alvarez knows how to fight of off their defense. It is a shame the damage they could have inflicted if they knew how to.

Those cards were a joke. I had Alvarez winning a close decision.

Fights like this is why I don't like Canelo. He keeps getting given gifts by the judges. For the record, I had his fight with Trout and Lara a draw. Guess who won?

I hope he has the balls to face GGG, and GGG knocks him the **** out (and I am not a GGG fanboy).

        ur purto rican aint u....

it was no "handing of the torch" because cotto never had a torch to begin with,he beat nothing but handicapped fighters, and now that he stepped up to canelo he got beat up. he thrw jabs all night and barely landed anything with power

and canelo beats ggg easily, ggg has not faced a SINGLE elite fighter yet

Is that a thing now for Cotto and Broner leaving the ring out of shame before being interviewed.

          So immature.

            8 to 4 canelo
Canelo won because he was the the most accurate, good defense, and landed better shots. that simple.

Canelo had like 20 lbs on him. You expect Cotto to knock out a young lion with a 20lb weight advantage?

Canelo was only landing 2-3 good shots a round while Cotto was peppering him with combinations all night.

If this fight was scored the way Mayweather fights are scored then Cotto would have won, but those cards were mailed in before the bell even rang.

You know that it is going to be the same story every time Canelo steps in the ring; he will have to be thoroughly outboxed (good enough for a majority decision win) or knocked out.
Pac vs bradley 1 was a black eye

only saw half the fight, and still those scorecards seems awful. good for cotto, i thought he was gonna be killed tonight, guess canelo has a small gas tank. if he does fight GGG (i don't believe oscar will let him) he gets fucked

Boxing is all about money and this fight was already planned to passing the tittle to Canelo to continue boxing. Cotto now will retire. Boom end of the story.

It wasn't close enough for a rematch and Cotto is getting older and Canelo is coming into his peak years - and getting bigger.
