    ...
Who's the fourth? Canelo/GGG??? Ward??? Probably a little too early to say. Let's discuss.
If we're talking PPV Kings, then the next name on that list would be either Canelo or Marquez. I think they have defined this era and they are on their way out. Skill wise nobody else compares the those four. In terms of dominance, we would have to add Wlad

No way is Cotto or GGG near that list.
Ward needs to put in a lot of work but can be done
I out rigo because I don't see him losing
Rigondeux?!? Too soon man. He's a world class boxer but he has a lot more to do

You should not be able to include HW's..

Otherwise Mike Tyson should clearly edge out one of the fab 4 also.

So Wlad aside, we have 4 definites imo...

          Manny Pacquaio
          Floyd Mayweather
          Sergei Kovalev
          Gennady Golovkin

Saul Alvarez? Still a big question mark to take it over the 2 Slavic bruisers.

LOL at Miguel Cotto being a top 4! Even if he beats Saul it wouldn't be enough!

Assuming he are talking the past 10 years, it's Mayweather/Pacquiao/Cotto/Marquez.

Wlad won't be considered because he fights in a different division.

              wlad, pac, may and cotto

canelo? , 2 of his noteworthy wins are controversial, maybe add cotto to the controversy after tomorrow too. his resume cant even be compared to nonito or ward. now , if you base it on popularity and being a hypejob , he wins hands down

pissboy don't belong either, pac is his only ticket to the conversation and maybe the MAB win

Ricardo Mayorga deserves to be there.

There are no kings of this era. With all the belts, promoters and other excuses, the best fights that could have been never happened.

The difference in the four kings in the 1980s is that they fought each other in their primes with no excuses. It makes them especially exceptional compared to this era.

Pacquaio is a hall of famer and certainly gave us many great moments, but with his catch weight rules and his multiple titles in this era with too many belts, I think even his legacy is close between style and substance. However, I do give him credit for fighting anybody.

Mayweather of course, chose to choose and pick his spots which is smart from a business sense, but really hurts his respect long term. His legacy is filled with older fighters past their primes and lesser fighters who would have been eaten up by the four kings from the '80s.

Cotto has lots of flaws and holes here, mainly that he generally got beat when he stepped up to the other two supposed kings.

It's sad to say, but there aren't four kings of this era. I'd give Pacman the most credit for boxing, Mayweather for wise business decisions and Cotto for showing true grit.

But put these guys in the '80s and they never even make it to star status.

                      1. Morales
                      2. Barrera
                      3. Pacquiao
                      4. Marquez
Same with you. People will always remember rivalries. It is actually the little version of Leonard, Hearns, Hagler and Duran. Four Atgs fighting each other (except Marquez-Morales).
