Owning a football club is a billionaire's game, or at least very rich/wealthy.

4 or 5 ex Man Utd players, probably richer than Khan bought Salford FC, and they're basically part time players, not a full professional team and they still had to get a Billionaire from Singapore to have the major 50% share to bankroll the club, thats the kind of money you need to keep it operating.

Even Floyd wouldn't have that kind of money, nevermind Khan.

What in God's name are you talking about? Teams at the lower end of the Premier League go for £300mill. Dip down a division and you can pick up a football team for £10-20mill. A division lower and you're talking £1-3mill.

I'm sure a league 2/Conference side can be bought for under a £1mill.
