    Amir Khan set to buy Bolton Wanderers!

    Heard Daily Star isn't the greatest of sources but if true then nice to see a fighter who has taken wear and tear enjoy the fruits of his labor by buying THE sports team of your city.

    I havent watched football in years but wasn't bolton in the premiership years ago? Khan aint packing that kind of dough to buy a whole football club

      Look for the Bolton Wanderers to start talking about all their potential opponents, but never show up for games if Amir takes ownership.

        He doesn't have that sort of money, it takes hundreds of million to successfully run a championship club/lower tier premier league club.

        Bolton have run up a debt of £170+ million, buying off that kind of debt would ruin Amir Khan. No chance, if it's even remotely true then it's got to be a group of which he will be a small part owner of the club.

          I thought it was obvious he isn't that rich to buy the whole thing to himself. Anyways, I added the part owner part in the first post.

                    Still got my 95 sticker album somewhere uncompleted. Still haunts me.
