great comparison by Ward - using Pac v. mayweather - a fight that should've happened in 2010 and it was obvious once they got in the ring that the fight was happening too late.
Essentially Ward said, who cares about giving the fans the fights they want to see because they don't get punched in the face.
I can't stand it when fighters say that media and others cannot criticize them bc they've never been in the ring. We're paying customers - we can say what we ant. and fans want to see good fights. period.
fans don't care about building fights up. if that's the plan - fine. but keep that to yourself bc you're doing yourself a disservice.
