Didn't you read the article? Povetkin's people told the WBC that he won't be ready until April or May.

Come on bro, he wont be ready because of the Wach fight. Wilder pulled a fast one and fought that french men. So Povetkin fought Wach not Wilder wants another fight to push the fight further back. Were looking at the summer before these two fight now. Povetkin will have to wait instead of staying busy himself or Wilder will just keep making voluntaries. Povetkin wanted the fight in Sept. Wilder got the go at another voluntary so he took it. This isnt picking sides here man, its clear as day what happened. Cant understand the delay anyway since Wilder claims he will walk right through Povetkin. Make the defense, hes the champ, if he cant or does not want to he should be stripped. Povetkin has earned his shot and not defended his shot, now Wilder will fight in Jan. I just wanna see the fight man, but these Stevenson type moves are really getting sickening in the sport i grew up watching. Hey im 6'2 220 lbs, id be glad to take on Wilder for 100,000 but what does that win prove? im the only on benefiting.
