164 is SMW you dummies. 168 is the upper limit, not a requirement.

GGG has actually fought at 161 - which is SMW - twice early in his career.

He has never tried to defend a SMW title at 161 doe.

Try to use some common-sense why dont you.

I have already explained to you the difference between the official weigh-in and fight-night weight.

        Canelo weighs 155.

When Canelo is a middleweight he will weigh in at 160, just like the rest of the guys who fight in the middleweight division.

Team Golovkin - and anyone else who knows the game - are well-aware that Canelo will be much better/stronger given full camps that are designed to prepare him for 160.

Why do you think that boxing has official weigh-in's, you halfwit ?
Lol. You don't have to weigh in at 160lbs to be a MW, FFS.

MW is anything above 154 and up to 160. Eg, 155.

        Get it now?

Bandsman you get it!!! Those ***s don't! Bit of they think ggg is soo much smaller than why can Saul drop 20# at LEAST according to those dipshts but SMALL ggg can't drop 3-4???

End of the day ggg can make sacrifices like the rest or get the Fk stepping and fight Andy Lee for ppv flopp #2 and pretty much kill his career. ODH, cotto, Saul, Floyd, bhop and the best already did.

De La Hoya said the only reason Canelo is fighting Cotto was for the MW belt.

Two days later Canelo said he didn't care about it.

Weigh in? That's what he drains too.

I said he is adding muscle!

Dougie from Ring Mag said Canelo has put on even more.

Canelo came into the Trout fight at basically 175.

                He is bigger than GGG.

Canelo hasn't fought JR.MW since Floyd.

And I didn't say he was drained, Canelo fans at the time did.

I'm pointing out how that doesn't match up with what they're saying now.

                Please follow along.
Again, I said 'IF 157-158 is offered' - I never said it was offered. GGG said here that he wouldn't go to 158 for Canelo if it was offered, which for me is silly. 157-158 would a fair compromise.

What Oscar said, as usual, is irrelevant. Oscar doesn't speak for Canelo, instead he usually just talks nonsense. Canelo wanted Miguel before he won the MW title, it's THE fight that Canelo has been chasing, the belt means nothing.

Canelo is not gaining more muscle nor does he train in a fashion that promotes it, if he was then he wouldn't still be making agreed weights of 155 or less. He weighs now what he weighed 3 years ago.

What other people say about the Mayweather fight means nothing to me. I never said it. He was beaten by a better fighter, that's it.

no one is saying he cant, genius. The point is that he DOESNT HAVE TO.

Try and get that through your think skull

GGG and his handlers are clowns! I think we're all wanting to be a fan because GGG is a fun fighter to watch, but he absolutely refuses to fight anyone with a pulse and he has a million excuses for not fighting anyone. To preemptively dismiss Cotto and Canelo at the same time as saying he fights at MW and SMW when he refused to go to the SMW limit to fight anyone is a joke.

GGG is a joke and a coward, he's quickly becoming the most despised fighter in the world.

WBC just vacated Floyd's Belts, but not Canelo. Come on!

both cotto and canelo have already said they wont go up to 160, so why wait until the fight is over to strip? its obvious the WBC wants that money too, so i really dont see them ever stripping that belt.
Someone has explained this to you ten times and still you ask.

They don't now because GGG, Canelo, Cotto signed a step aside agreement.

So they will only strip if the winner refuses to fight GGG.

WBC has repeatedly addressed this. Only people who are wishful thinking think the WBC won't strip them

They just stripped Floyd after all.
