Roc nation forgot to pay the "nevada commision fee" , to make this kind of mismatch you need money. Maybe they used all of their money paying Ward.

Props to the Nevada Commission for making the right decision!
No need for Ward to take advantage of an inexperienced kid who's never fought outside Australia & humiliate him in front of the world.

It's as if thought the Paul Smith fight was too hard and he needed someone levels below that. As someone else said a few pages back, it's questionable if he will ever face Kovalev. More likely he makes further unrealistic demands in 6 months time and kills the fight.

You do know that Eastern Euros step up and fight good competition within their first Ten fights, right?
Eastern Euros are so protected that they themselves choose to fight good competition within their first Ten fights and first Two years of being pros, but they are soooo protected. GTFO with that crap.
For the last couple of years the 160 division has been soft as durg store cotton , then comes along GGG , stronger and levels above anyone in the division , but he's content staying planted there , bullying those average to below average guys . He carried Lemeioux (probably 160's best) , 8 rounds by using almost solely a jab and laying off power punches just to dispel the "myth" that it wasn't a glorified mismatch .
My point to all of this : GGG is a over-talented bully on the 160 division who hides behind chasing ephemeral victories like "unifying the titles" in order to pad his record with innumerable cans who stand absolutely NO chance . He's been bullying this 160 division for 4 years now and we ALL get it . We get your the undisputed best there , and we don't need u to chase ephemeral straps in that division to prove it . 4 years of bullying a innumerable amout of cans is unacceptable .
Move up and prepare for a Ward showdown at 168 , as u two truly need each other , and it's a 50/50 fight as far as I'm concerned . I'm a fan of Ward also , but this last hand picked can has gotten under my skin a bit . He should be asking for a Fanfara , Gonzalez , Pascal , Stevenson , except maybe not on short notice . He needs also to fight better comp as his return warm up fight is behind him now . But there is a double standard if Ward can look for his 2nd can in a row and be ridiculed , while GGG has fought innumerable cans for the last 4 years but is glorified as the marketing machines sells theses cans as dangerous . But Vegas usually tells the truth as most sports books had David at least a 16/1 underdog .
It's definitely a double standard as GGG's resume has little to no one on it , therefore he should be feeling tremendous pressure to to move up to real challenges , like Ward .Last edited by SugarRaRobinson; 10-25-2015, 12:16 PM.

Ward had his tuneup already. He should be fighting a fringe guy. But its a month out and he has no opponent so this next guy will be even worse than Paul Smith.
This is not gonna help him fight Kovalev.
