My point is you are stating the obvious. Might seem like insight to you but it's common knowledge to anyone else worth their salt. Ideally you always want to land a cross on the button. The challenge is in the setup and the execution.

Hence, setup and execution. Offensively, style differences are just differences in setup and execution of attack. It's a culmination of technique that ultimately allows you to surpass the defense of your opponent and use your specific set of tools on them.

Even within a certain style set, people have different flavor and flair that they use than others of that sa me style set. The reason for this is they have a SPECIFIC set of tools that they have and no other man has. It is a poor student that emulates and copies and does not maximize the potential of what he HAS. Blanket statement regarding styles are not going to get any traction with guys like me because I know nuance.

That's it..no criticism about Lara's style from K2 or Sanchez... practical huh. You don't need to describe technique theory. Lemieux executed jabs and the followup cross several times and landed. Lara's output ratio for master potshot crossing and footwork is beyond that of Lemieux.

First off..oh man...I don't if you're playing along...but Rigo's ''hook'' bit was sarcasm.... we were talking about crosses...

2nd, Lemieux is supposedly a well conditioned fighters. Has a lot of energy to go 12 rounds and still lay bombs with hooks... therefore, instead of exerting all the energy from hooks he had missed and right hand jabs, he could'Ve just came forward with the repetitive left and jabbing and finish the right cross execution like he DID, and thus, just being active and busy. GGG didn't even counter attack on all those attempts. Therefore, do the math going 12...at least not a UD.

Now you're saying, ''Lara,'' when I clearly just gave an example about K2 and Sanchez stating in the last 2 years that they can take 154 or 168 fighters...so I don't know what failed attempt of a claim you state. Why you had to open your mouth about being some poster here for years putting others in their place is just as 1 dimensional like all other failed posts from people with longevity around here as well.
