Why is this even in question? This is the 160 pound Championship. If you can muscle your voluntary defenses into agreeing to things then whatever. But for a mandatory fight once a year, the top MIDDLEWEIGHT deserves a shot. If you cant beat him, you dont deserve the belt.

GGG needs Canelo, Canelo doesn't need GGG. I really like GGG, But he brings nothing to the table and Canelo doesn't have to fight him. He could just go back to 154 and be Champion and let GGG be a paper champion at 160 without any elite wins. I feel bad for GGG, but this are facts:

-he is the B-side and has no pull to be a diva in negotiations

saul el pollo alvarez . i told everybody that the coward would duck. he's staying near 154 on purpose. he's all hear say in interviews and when a microphone is in his face. but the reality is that he sparred and got beat down with head gear and is'nt never fighting little G period.

Any idea why Clottey wasn't fighting at MW in 2010? He weighed 170lbs on fight night consistently.

Also, why did it take Pacquiao so long to get to 140-147lbs, when at Featherweight and Super Featherweight he was already weighing 145lbs on fight night.

Lastly, if Canelo and Golovkin are the same size, why can Canelo cut down to 155 and Golovkin can't? Is it harder for GGG, and why is harder for him? They are the same size afterfall. Would GGG have to lose more muscle weight while Canelo just has to burn some fat or cut water weight? I am asking legit, you seem to know a lot about weight differences, and you say there is no difference between Canelo's 170lbs and GGG's 170lbs. So I mean, they should both be able to make 155lbs since they are the same size.

I'll tell you how...1 guy fights every month and is ALWAYS in camp. Who if he even eats 5 calories too much, he's in the bathroom sticking a finger in his mouth to puke it all up.

The other guy fights 2 times a year and enjoys the good life! Eating fast food and drinking some cervezas. Mexicans LOVE to COOK, EAT, DRINK, and ***!!!

Damn 97K PPVs!!!....this will really hurt them when trying to get a name fighter on the table...I knew his team is way over their heads and if this #s are true...proof that....horrible decision from his team and HBO.....but in a way they deserve that for all the taking!!!
