Ward hasn't beaten up his baby's mother, has no dv cases, didn't rob an old lady, isn't making ****** ****, isn't a pimp, isn't affiliated with Haymon, doesn't call himself TBE, didn't sign with showtime, doesn't brag about ********, doesn't waste money on strippers, isn't a compulsive liar, nor does he display any of the charachteristics that posters claimed made them hate Stevenson, Floyd, Broner or Haymon.

Yet he still gets the same criticism and hate as these men. Why?

All Ward has done is stay professional and win.

Isn't this fight still gonna be on the Cotto vs Canelo undercard? You're optimistic if you think Ward is having any impact on ticket sales regardless if he's going to 175 or not.

You must be a Ward fan, that's why you are attacking me in this thread and why you always defend him, isn't it? You are his fan for one reason. There is no other reason anyone would support Ward, he's a feather-fisted privileged prima donna with a smugly arrogant feeling of entitlement, and an ugly and dirty boxing style. He refuses PED testing and won't fight without a home referee who permits him to foul.

Ward's manager is James Prince, the creep who sent his henchmen to intimidate Mayweather - they couldn't find him, so they beat up poor Leonard Ellerbe in a vicious gay-bashing.

Murdock isn't very good and is not difficult to hit. But that doesn't mean Ward won't resort to using his clinching, hitting while holding, arm-clamping and head butts, as usual.

Unlike his few hometown Oakland fans, Las Vegas fans won't tolerate his disgusting tactics - he'll be booed out of the Mandalay Bay, wait and see!
why do you care so much about ward if he gets booed who care if he gets standing ovation who care

Correct. Wards only real crime is being a professional first and a personality second.

Having said that, I think his choice of opponent only helps fuel his detractors.

Ward being on the undercard will have a NEGATIVE effect on PPV buys and ticket sales.

At the time of his fight, I'll be outside, smoking a fat joint and preparing myself for the main event so I don't really care if he gets booed or not

I agree. He's not really relevant anymore.

But people buying the PPV are entitled to a better undercard fights than Ward-Murdoch.

It's a sad mismatch, like Ortiz-Vitendo on the GGG PPV. Ward is being a bully, beating up and inexperienced kid.

Well, I was going to buy the PPV, but now I won't.

I won't support an unethical mismatch of an experienced boxer beating up an inexperienced kid. To make it worse he's making Murdoch move up to 175.
