you guys said he was inactive, he needed to rebuild himself, why not target GGG by the beginning of 2016 in jan-feb, take a LHW limit fight around june-july and end the year vs Kovalev in Nov-Dec.

      HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHA!
You didn't get it right: Ward fought John Smith at 176 as a tuneup for Golovkin at 168, planned for to take place somewhere down the line... And GGG obviously ducked.

Ward would beat Golovkin in a kindergarten car park.

That is absolutely what you do.

          P4P is completely hypothetical.

Ward was inacitive, he did not suddenly become David Lemieux.

He was still sharp, still elite, still got those mad skills, still P4P.

Mayweather did the exact same thing.

Suggesting that those two fighters " start again " is absurd.

If Ward was half-as-shht as you guys make out, Golovkin would have fought him.
If Ward had the fans and the "marketability" that Froch has, they would have fought him, at 168.

GGG was willing to fight Froch, in the UK. Do you seriously think he would have been scared of feather-fisted Ward?

Ward isn't going to fight Kovalev, he'll back out long before it happens

HBO wants him to do something. Ward will take tune ups and then claim he isn't a LHW and go back down to 168.

            Watch

And he has five weeks to get ready for Cotto/Canelo undercard

I'll be shocked if they sign this anytime soon. We'll see.

Giggi didn't have the heart to move up to fight Ward so ward did one even better and moved up to face a better fighter and a bigger man
            America always prevails
GGG tried to fight Ward. Ward turned it down, then a year later wanted the fight. GGG was like, I'm on to bigger better things.

If Ward fights Kovalev, I doubt it.

Ward also said he'd be fighting HW.

They also said he'd be HW champ by now.

Let's see if Ward even rights soon.

It was Paul Smith, and it was 172..... but dont let me wreck a good story.

              I agree with the bold.

Otherwise Pacquiao would be ranked higher than Golovkin and Kovalev.

He would certainly be ahead of Chocolatito as well.

A fighters resume is considered for ATG lists, not P4P.

                P4P is about style/form/ability.

And very few P4P fighters have a P4P rival.
Ok i dont necessarily disagree with you, i like that, style/form/ability but at some point level of oposition absolutely has to be considered or it leaves the door open for the #1 to possibly have the weakest wins of the top 10 if we just went on styleformability...u see what im getn at?

And to addresd ur Pac over GGG, Kov comment...dude of course taking Ls affects ones rating which is why he dropped some spots right?

Yea cuz ward is the man for taking tune ups to fight a guy basically his size and ggg is a pu55y for not fighting a bigger man with no tune ups. USA USA USA!

You know what "John Smith" means in the U.K.?...
... The guy came at over 176 lb at the weigh-in...
