You're pretty much discredited on the topic, remember? But how can a much less competitive fight (per NSB) between bigger, more proven, more talented guy and unproven MW hype be better than a much more competitive fight?

Lemiuex is by far his toughest opponent in the pros and that pretty much sums up his pro career. Imo he needs to fight ward its the best fight boxing has right now bar none. It would be such a huge fight I dont care what anyone says just look at any comment section on a ward ggg thread its filled no boxing fan would miss that fight.

My point is ggg is human hes not a god. He may go down as one of the best fighters ever but to me its no different then when people prop up any other over hyped fighter. GGG is the real deal dont get me wrong but cant we at least wait for him to prove it?

The problem is the best fight for ggg legacy by far is ward its not even close he beats ward hes number 1 p4p deserved or not and is a bonafid superstar. I just dont think he will do it which is a shame I get why he wont he can keep beating up guys at 160 class like lemieux and andy lee but god would i love to see 2 guys in their prime like ward and ggg fight it would be the real fight of our era not manny and pac
One of the manny terrible things Floyd brought to the sport is the idea that skipping weight classes is important to your legacy.

what? ward has no balls. none. look at the bums he has tried to fight. truax, sartison, retired pavlik, zac dunn. where are the balls in that? ward turned down bute, stevenson, and froch in the uk. where are the balls in that? oh the super six? you mean the tournament that was completely rigged in his favor and ward got special treatment? where are the balls in that? ward had to cheat and clinch and headbutt nonstop to win certain fights. where are the balls in that? ward pretended he wanted to fight ggg after ggg had a fight scheduled. where are the balls in that? ward has to have everything in his favor to fight anyone and he only wants to fight bums. he's garbage. why don't you realize this? have you been sleeping the last 6 years of his fraudulent career? did you just wake from a coma.

Great post. I want to see how he deals with adversity too. He has a great chin, which has allowed him to be a very heavy handed offensive fighter. If David, can find that stone to hit Goliath with, then cuts his head off, it will be victory of near biblical proportions.

As soon as GGG lays a hand on Lemiuex its all over. the question I ask is, what if Lemieux connects first? Will GGG take that kind of power? If he does, I will have a new favorite come Saturday!
