Wards a god damn LightHeavy Weight at this point, so it's ridiculous for people to mention this fight until he can actually prove he's still an entity at 168!

Id much rather see GGG fight the Lee vs Saunders winner before or after fighting for the WBC belt (because I can guarantee Cotto/Canelo winner doesn't take the fight)! I can't understand why people talk **** about a fighter trying unify all the belts in his own division before moving up!

More like 155 for 2 years.

Wouldn't say he's top small either but he seems inbetween at the moment, too big for 154 but not quite a MW.

This post makes no sense what so ever.

        Consider revising.

Ward fans pretending to be Golovkin fans.

Step 1. Praise Golovkin until he reaches Pacquiao-level status.

Step 2. If Pacquiao moved up, Golovkin should do the same.

Step 3. Golovkin moves to 168 and Ward beats his ass.

So tell me where I went wrong in saying that?

Never once did I say he was THE P4P great or that he'd beat everyone in the surrounding divisions (Ward in particular) or he was indestructible or anything like that.

Maybe if you were smarter, you would've understand what I just said.
First thing that needs pointing out is that Canelo is not smaller than GGG. He has actually been heavier than Golovkin at his 30 day weigh ins for at least 2 years now, but, for some reason, insists on fighting at catchweights lower than 160lbs.

But I noticed the same inconsistency as you did in what Larry is saying here. He doesn't want to see GGG vs Cotto/Canelo because they are offensive fighters and he is bigger than them.

But he aches to see GGG, who is also an offensive fighter, going up against guys who are bigger than he is!

Larry, you should be more honest and say that you like GGG, but not as much as you would like to see him getting beat by a slick, black fighter. And we all know who that is.

No worries about size difference there, eh Larry?

Why is nobody talking about GGG facing the winner of Quillin/Jacobs? That'll be a nice fight to have at the Barclays.

Ward is currently fighting as a LHW and is in talks for a bout vs Kovalev.

Because we all know it won't happen unless something drastically changes between HBO relationship with Haymon.

I'd prefer to see him unify than step up to 168 right now. The only fights at 168 that excite me our DeGale and Ward, and a Ward fight probably isn't going to get made anytime soon if him and Kovalev are working towards a fight.

Lemeiux then Cotto /Canelo are good fights. If he wins them he's chasing the Saunders/Lee winner (if they still have the title by then).

Unify then move up would be how i'd like to see it.

I disagree. 160 isnt the greatest talent. But its a solid division. And GGG is just better than everyone else.
If GGG was Black you would praise him like hagler and say his competition is solid . 160 is just as competitive at 147 before iv floyd fake retired .

Why would anyone hate him? He is damn entertaining in a dreadful middleweight division.
