Who cares about fight-night weight.

How is that even relevant ?

The amount of functional muscle-mass and conditioning that you can take into a fight is determined at the official weigh-in.

If Canelo can make 154 and remain healthy throughout the fight then he is a JMW.

He fights JMW's at 155 out of entitlement, which is unprofessional.

That doesn't make him a middleweight dude.

Middleweights prepare for a fight in which they can weigh up to 160, against an opponent who will be doing the same.

Thats does not describe Canelo at all my friend.

GGG weight 170-173 on the fight night.
Canelo weights 175+ on the fight night.

Only in your world it is easier to lose 18-20 pounds than 15 pounds. And we have seen that Alvarez does not take weight loss well in Mayweather fight.

There is no advantage for Canelo fighting @ catchweight with GGG period.
In my opinion it would be better for him fighting with the full strength on his hands.

Canelo Alvarez has never weighed more than 155 at the official weigh-in for a fight ever, and he and his camp have already gone on record stating that junior middleweight is the weight that they want to compete. Fighting Miguel Cotto is a massive fight for Canelo Alvarez because he is fighting Miguel Cotto; the fact that Cotto has the WBC 160 belt, in the grand scheme of things, doesn't mean all that much.

Canelo Alvarez is all of 25 years old; of course he's "draining himself" (in actuality, being that young, his body is still able to take off weight pretty comfortably).

Hilarious, though, that Golovkin's been basically fighting at 160 since he was 20 years old (last two years as an amateur were at same-day weight of 165lbs), yet you have no issue with his own boiling down; no physical develop over the last 13 years? gtfoh.

Probably there would be excuse on the Ward side since he has no intention fighting GGG. His Mickey Mouse offer further prove that. Ward is an dishonest man who keeps all his nine fans hoodwinked.

You can't listen to GGG's camp without hearing multiple excuses about why the fight shouldn't happen. If Ward is about to fight Kovalev I highly doubt he fears GGG. Hoodwinked is the GGG fans hanging on to that "most feared" foolishness.

They said they would fight anyone from 154 to 168 if it made sense. They never said they would fight at the weight of 168 I think. IMO if they fight Ward at 164 they still kept their word about fighting anyone from 154 to 168.
