P4p is an abstract, unprovable, ranking system. Do you have any education? Nothing about it can be proven because most of the fighters on it don't fight one another or their contemporaries. Having a conversation about hypothetical fights doesn't make it valid just because the boxing world says so.

It is a good tool to gauge where most media experts thought Manny was at the time of the fight. Was Manny past prime-absolutely.

Did these same people think he was he at the level you suggested in your post-no. The fact he was still being ranked on the p4p list shows where they thought Manny was. No more, no less.

I think people are voting ottke because of how ****** this question is. Floyd is far and above ottke. Larry is upset that Marciano is winning in the other poll and thinks it's because people hate Floyd so much, so he makes this to solidify that it's really hate. But, it's not the case. No one would seriously vote for ottke. People would vote for Marciano because people revere heavyweights. Voting for rios is hating, though. I'll give you that.

I didn't suggest where I thought manny was. You said Hopkins was 1/50th of himself. I argued he was still very successful, at a high level, before and after the joe fight. So if he's 1/50th, what does that make pac who was beating algierie, Bradley and getting knocked out? You used that number not me.
