I'm sure all history will remember of fights like Pac/Marquez III, ODLH/Sturm, JCC/Whitaker etc are the official decisions.

For the record I agree that Pac lost but your comment is ******.

I feel like this isn't the first article where we have Mayweather Sr expressing this point of view. I can't imagine what is being added with this one.

I would bet on him. I regularly bet on boxing. Not less than 500 USD. Not trying to act like anything big or a pro gambler, but I make a little money here and there. I never, ever, ever bet my feelings! I bet my money.

I often have bet against guys I like. Which I do easily! I bet that if he comes back, he picks his opponent, ref, gloves, terms, announcers, official TMT extravaganza type crap. They will put a wonderful spin on his 2 or three fight deal with haymon in charge of it all, HBO vs sho for the chance to host his show.

I bet against De la Hoya vs may weather.
            Bet against hatton
            Bet against Ortiz
            Bet against the ghost
I stayed away from that joke of a Berto fight.
Bet against PAC. That was an easy one for me. I knew he would win, but bet against the KO. Floyd would have to risk getting knocked out himself to take PAC out. Plus factoring his historic hand pain, he would do just enough to win.

I actually think that "doing just enough to win" bothers fight fans. I get this mindset. But Floyd must think of his health. When I boxed as a teenager, I broke my right hand 2 times, left hand 1 time. I lost all three fights, and never made money.
Now when it snows in Tokyo, I feel hand pain. Can't open big jars with tight lids. I have that whatchamacall it as seen in TV jar opener.

I never got paid. Now, I make some money betting on boxing. Sometimes I lose, but overall, that is boxing.

I don't have the mind/attitude/risk it all guts to try Texas hold'em! It is all about the mind, math, psychology, controlling yourself, and playing that guy across the table! They play the player, the cards matter too, but less than the mental psyc jobs they sell each other.

All the Mayweathers have made millions off of Floyd Jr.

Nah, he's coming back. Given his lifestyle and spending habits, his cash flow is going to start drying up very soon. I say in about two years time he will be back because by that time he will be virtually cash poor. He will be tapping into those savings accounts because those huge deposits into his checking accounts will be sorely missed.

floyd's too much of a competitor to feel comfortable being tied with marciano, he'll come back for 50-0 and after that call it a career for sure. .but i doubt its next year. by that time hopefully theres a legit challenge.. no pacquiao rematch, i dont wanna hear more excuses.. no cotto/canelo rematch.. maybe someone like brook if he manages to improve his resume, or even khan just to shut that guy up.

he has no reason to go back. boxing fans are fed up of his boring style despite that IV thing.
