Don't understand the complaints this is a very winnable fight for Bute

I see Bute stopping degale in 9 rounds he won't be gunshy vs dégale,I'd say Bute is a better fighter than Andre dirrel at this present time but has better timing and a fast left hand just probably not as good recovery as Dirrel if hurt

I don't think Bute has ever been as good as Andre Dirrell, never mind now.

Bute hasn't made 168 in almost 3 1/2 years and he's lost half of his 4 whole fights in that time. Should have some entertaining moments though. DeGale should put him to sleep in the later rounds after Bute tires. Bute should win some middle rounds that James takes off.

He was 170 for his last fight. Highest he's ever been is 173 for Pascal

I don't think Bute has ever been as good as Andre Dirrell, never mind now.

Hard to tell where Dirrell is at now, he got that brain injury and hadn't fought a live body in 5 years before Degale.

He showed enough in the DeGale fight to tell me he's clearly better than Bute at the moment.

Is that like "Carson Jones showed me enough vs Brook to tell me he's a threat to any welter"? Could be Degale is not all that to struggle with a brain patient. We'll see.

bute clearly looks like a shot fighter. afraid to get hit or engage. he still has power though but yea his brain is done.

It's not really. Carson Jones has never done anything except push Brook once and get stopped in a rematch.

Dirrell has easily handled Abraham and most believe beat Froch who were still two of the recent champions at the weight.

Carson Jones is just a tough journeyman who once pushed a top fighter. A bit like Martin Murray.

Yeah but those bouts were 5+ years prior and in the mean time there was the brain injury, inactivity, and no decent opponents. So hard to gauge the real value of that win

murray beat martinez according to most and about half the people think he beat sturm. i wouldn't consider that journeyman status since those were 2 of the best in the division. because of politics/luck he didn't get the W so it gives fuel to haters who like to discredit fighters but non biased fans would say he was a top fighter. you can make the argument that 160 was a weak division but to say muray was nothing more than a journeyman isn't fair. didn't you just make the arguement that dirrel was a top fighter based on not getting the W to froch yet you call murray a journeyman becaus he didnt' get the W on other figthers home turf? oh the irony... oh btw i love ggg
