As for the thread topic. I don't see why anyone would complain.
A paper Champion at 160 (GGG) now has a clear and attainable goal, which is to unify all the belts. His promoter just said it -- first it's the WBC, then they're going after the WBO. That's a good goal that have set.

Its only warned when its excessive... cmon man.

To say that holding is allowed though is ******. Its expressedly against the rules, regardless of if it has become a tolerated part of the sport.
I think it becoming more and more of a problem, as we no longer have the referees that instead of constantly breaking fighters apart, simply physically pulled their hands out clinches, and swatted their gloves down when they would try and grab.
As to the Purse demands.
Its really not unreasonable for GGG to want more than 50%. Ward hasn't had a notable fight since 2012, wasn't even very popular with the public then, and is even less popular now. Meanwhile GGG is about to headline his first PPV.
GGG clearly brings the money, and Ward cant even argue that he is the biggest money GGG can make, because both Canelo and Cotto are much larger paydays.
60/40 would be reasonable, much like Roy's demands against Hopkins. Especially given the GGG's stated objected is to unify the middleweight division, not move up and down weights.

Sometimes I think some of these guys would rather see their fighter dominate at the negotiation table than actually see them in good fights
not really. if i wanted to watch a clinch fest i would watch wlad's career set.
