    Top Rank's CEO, Bob Arum, has brushed off reports which suggest that he's in charge of selecting the next opponent for eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao (57-6, 38KOs).

    Pacquiao has been out of the ring since May 2nd, when he lost a twelve round unanimous decision to Floyd Mayweather Jr. He injured his right shoulder during the fourth round of the contest and had surgery a few days later. Pacquiao wants to return to the ring no later than April of next year.

    Crawford will obviously be the best option for Pacquiao because Arum will make it worthwhile. I prefer Brooks and Khan because I can't stand both frauds. I hope Pacquiao will be back on roads on the next fight.

      So Freddie picked Oscar because he was shot, picked Shane because he felt shane was shot. Isn't thiscalled "cherry picking " by any other boxer? Lol

        Bob starting the damage control early. I hope he comes back and fights a true WW. My guess is whoever is the WBO WW or JWW champ will fight Manny when he returns.

          I don't know but thats a pretty good list to choose from. I don't see a problem with any of those fights.

            Don't forget. It was Oscar who called and cherry picked Pac. It was Oscar who called for the fight at 147. It was a cherry pick gone wrong. Freddy and Pac only accepted the challenge.

                Pac may not have cherry picked Oscar but he certainly cherry picked Shane among others.
