You're a simpleton. I just explained why it's not as simple as comparing resumes and you go back to that same argument. You're totally disregarding how difficult it would be to fight six times a year against big men in fights that can be changed by one punch. You say you watch a lot boxing, do you not notice the tension in heavyweight fights? Guys aren't just swinging wildly, they can't. You're disregarding how dangerous and difficult that schedule would be to navigate. Instead I should be more impressed that he beat a guy who drew with Sergio mora four months after losing to Floyd, along with guys like Robert Guerrero.

Anyways...I agree. He did have questionable wins. Id say its fair to say..what fighter dont.

How many ranked fighters did Mariciano beat? I have to give you that one because without doing the research i really dont know. Im gonna say its safe to say not as much as Floyd though.

I agree with the Bold but not gonna say its the only thing. I do think even though ranked fighters is a ball of wax now of days and any jackasz can be ranked...Like Berto being #1 ranked lol come on...I cannot go buy ranked fighters. Sanctioning bodies have always ******...then and now!

Why would I call him a moron when I agree with him? You however, clearly don't know what you're talking about when it comes to Marciano, Mayweather or boxing in general. Yes, it's that obvious.

By the way, your mistake wasn't a "typo." It was a result from your ignorance lol. Deal with it.

I'm not talking sanctioning bodies, I'm talking world ranked by The Ring ****zine. Berto was unranked.

The answer for Marcaino is; Not many. No where near as many as Floyd.

If that isn't all he has then what else does he have? He doesn't have better wins, he doesn't have better accomplishments, he doesn't have better statistics.

Many people hated on Rocky because he won all his fights. People said the same thing about his opponents as they say (including myself) about Floyd's.
You can't say Rocky didn't fight some tough ass dudes. He did. Even some of the greats we all know today. Some twice.
It was just a different era back then as far as judging past fighters accomplishments in the sport.
IMO things like RM fighting with his nose hanging off his face with Ezzard Charles is what real champs are made of. Some may look at it different.

So I would put Floyd and Marciano as equal in there accomplishment. I don't subsribe to the heavyweight division being superior by default unless there were some incredibly strong punchers in the division, and in marciano's case all the strong punchers were past it.
You are telling the truth. That what it be like.
