The IV scandal will not help Floyd. It will just put more questions on it.
So you say that you have been here for a long time then why can't you get what I said in a previous response(see above)?

Why the fight was stalled for 5+ years:
"All I want is a fair fight" - Floyd Mayweather
Then Floyd gets USADA to agree to a contract whereby if Floyd's tests come back positive then he can get a retroactive TUE and not have to let his opponent nor NSAC know about it. Now go back and read the above paragraph and why this fight was delayed for 5+ years.
Comical ... but Floyd fans are still buying Floyd's KoolAid today. Its all there but they still can't see.

The point is that, I can think of situations where I was less than 100% but decided that at game time, I was good enough to start but nowhere near 100%. Then during the game the injury comes back to the same level as when it was initially injured. At times, the injury gets worse than it originally was. I have played injured and sometimes I still looked like the best player there and sometimes the injury was just too much and I didn't ....
Remember that Manny was counting on getting a pain killer since USADA APPROVED the non-prohibited drug. Floyd with no approval until after the fight, is approved and gets whatever he wants.
Manny is not Castillo nor Maidana. Those 2 are bigger than Manny and less skilled. With their size they were able to bully Floyd. Unfortunately for Maidana, Floyd made sure that he had a guard, I mean a ref that would not allow him to do anything but at the same time, unfairly allow Floyd to elbow, hug and so on. So Floyd had the best of both worlds.
Manny fought injured and still, Floyd had his lowest punch count ever. Manny had the better moments.
If Manny had no skills could he have done this? In all 4 examples, Manny had Floyd miss or block his punch then counter and connect. All 4 times, it was planned and executed as Manny wanted. All in Round 3

Very good defensive fighters take less risk so the probability is less that they get KOd. The ref, Joe Cortez, could have waved off the fight after the 3rd Marquez knock down in round 1 of fight 1. Fortunately, that did not happen or else we would not have seen fights 2, 3 and 4.
When the bigger Clottey faced Manny, he went into survival mode. He was in essence playing turtle. So if you turtle up, a turtle can't fight but will not get KOed.
GGG/Canelo/Martinez/Williams ..... the difference:
- Manny tried and went up to 150 only 1 time. He realized even before the fight that it was too much and said that it would be the first time and last time at that weight.
- Floyd fought 3 times at 154. Yet, he didn't want to risk fighting Martinez and Williams. He only fought the green, inexperienced, low work rate, bad stamina, relatively flat footed Canelo. Plus, they both held titles at 154, both fought there before yet the fight was at a CW of 152? Besides the above mentioned disadvantages that Canelo had, Floyd in essence, removed Canelo's only advantage by trying to drain him.
"There is a reason why you CW. You are trying to drain and dehydrate your opponent ..... I look at Cotto (Canelo) as an undefeated fighter."
So in essence, Floyd has said that we should NOT count the Canelo fight.
- Floyd has never fought at 160 so I didn't expect him or care for him to fight at 160 BUT then came the possibility to fight Cotto and Canelo at 160 and things changed for Floyd and his fans. They were so pumped up that Floyd can get another title at another division. Too boot, a lineal title.
So then naturally, the playing field changes. Just like Floyd avoided the riskier opponents at 154, he will do the same at 160. Floyd and his fans will revert back to "Floyd is too small to fight at MW.
