I'm still confused about this 750 number.

Who is the source for that number? USADA or NSAC?

Because if it's USADA, they are denying that's the case.

It came out with the original article on the subject back in may. 750 is just the addition of the two shots Floyd took. One being 250ml, the other 500ml.

If anything, this serves as notice to Manny and other fighters that they can have IV drips administered so long as they provide a detailed report of the procedure and sufficient time before the fight for it to be reviewed and accepted or rejected by the commission and/or the testing agency.

What are you talking about? Pacquiao had a signed TUE from USADA, same as Floyd, except USADA was actually trying to go through the NSAC(albiet way too late) in Pacquiao's case and was rejected on the grounds that they didn't have enough time to verify the injury themselves. USADA never told the NSAC nothing until well after Floyd got his shots and well after the fight and thus the reason that the NSAC is pissed at USADA.

Right but who's the source for that?

          USADA right? Or no?

The difference was one was about a request for drugs for an injury that was falsely reported as non-existent.

The other was a detailed request for fluids to aid in re-hydration.

Irrelevant. USADA employee's talked to Pacquiao's doctor on two occasions, verified and gave Pacquiao the all go for his medication. Same thing with Mayweather and his personal doctors in his house. Only difference here is USADA never said anything to the NSAC to deny or accept Floyds request, the NSAC only found out well after the fight(perhaps as far as 20 days after).

Yeah you're of fan of his, but don't take it so personal.

He messed up, and when drug test talk come up in the future...Floyd's name now has a black mark next to it, when Pacquiao's in reality doesn't.

It is what it is. Nothing will come of this situation, but it's shady as hell and he's taking heat from it and rightly so. His excuse is dehydration when obviously a 750ml saline IV took at home without an official TUE is not what you do when you're 'dehydrated' from what..losing 3.5lbs in 2 weeks?

It is what it is, you don't have to make excuses for him. He's broke rules and it's on him, It's not a slant on you or yours.
One of the best post I have read regarding this situation.

                  How is that irrelevant?

The clear difference is drugs vs IV fluids.

The clear difference is one lied on a medical status form, the other one didn't.

Floyd has pretty much just confirmed that he is a drug cheat and usada and nsac let him get away with it.

Its funny seeing all the floyd fanboys make excuses now, when all they needed was an accusation for floyd to dam manny and now look, solid evidence is on the table and they make excuses.

Manny's shoulder excuse was bad but this has just put a black mark against floyd's whole career.

Floyd fans need to stop making excuses, floyd has been caught red handed, there is no defending his cheating actions.

Asterisk or No Asterisk that is the question

In light of all the stuff that has been coming out, what do you think will be the final conclusion? I love Floyd Mayweather the fighter I think he can be a thing of beauty in the ring. Do I have to be a hugger to appreciate him, no. But I do recognize his amazing skills. With that said I had those same feelings about Barry Bonds, Lance Armstrong and Alex Rodriguez. With the exception of Armstrong who im my opinion needed Roids to get to where he was at, Bonds and Rodriquez didn't need them IMO. And that's where I categorize Mayweather at. If he was doing something nefarious, which could very possibly be true he really didn't need to. That boy was amazing on his way up the superstar ladder. I remember talking about his defense and shoulder roll from day one. I think he didn't need enhancements, but in a world of mega mega money(which Floyd is in) you can do so much more and get away with it, so possibilities that something happened are there. I truly hope not, but looking at it from a non fanboy and non hater way, I see it could go possibly bad for Floyd now.

The seed of doubt has been planted and I guarantee there is going to be some big time investigations by these investigative journalist hawks trying to make a name for themselves. Past records will come back to light, ie the Doug Fisher files and things are going to get the microscope treatment now.

                      Asterisks anyone?
