The letter did not say when the request for the retroactive TUE was made by Mayweather or when it was granted by USADA.
Subsequent correspondence in response to requests by the NSAC and Top Rank for further information revealed that the TUE was not applied for until May 19 and was granted on May 20.Bob Bennett (who worked for the FBI before assuming his present position as executive director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission) has this to say: “The TUE for Mayweather’s IV - and the IV was administered at Floyd’s house, not in a medical facility, and wasn’t brought to our attention at the time - was totally unacceptable. I’ve made it clear to Travis Tygart that this should not happen again. We have the sole authority to grant any and all TUEs in the state of Nevada. USADA is a drug-testing agency. USADA should not be granting waivers and exemptions. Not in this state. We are less than pleased that USADA acted the way it did.”Last edited by BrometheusBob.; 09-10-2015, 02:32 AM.

He was urine tested both before and after taking the solutions.
Nevada rules permit the mixes that Mayweather took, but because USADA was overseeing the testing he applied for and was granted the TUE for them.
All tests came back negative."

U were talking about the date, according to Hauser NSAC knew about this on the 19th, Iole published his stuff 3 days later, yet the NSAC itself didn't say anything about this AFTER tge article was published, what does that mean to u? To me or to anyone that has common sense it means they either agreed with everything written in the article, they had 4 months time to say something about it and they didn't, and Coincidentally Floyd has a fight on Saturday, come on man!

Whether they told the NSAC about it or not is their problem, not Mayweather's, he did what he was told. Also NSAC had 4 months time to say anything about it, why would they wait 4 months and Coincidentally 2 days before a Mayweather fight to address the issue? This doesn't make much sense to me.Last edited by Ahmed_Ismail; 09-10-2015, 02:44 AM.

If they oversaw it this means they granted it. I don't know about the commision, but if USADA is responsible for testing and Mayweather asked them and was granted the TUE, why is this a problem now? They told him u can do it and he did it in front of them.

Edit: also never says they oversaw the tue just the testing overall... What a horrible reach.

Why would they do that?
