    Chaves will break brooks nose, make it a bit uncomfortable for the opening couple rounds, then Brook will take control from there and win.

        lol I dunno, I think you're underrating Chaves a little bit. He gave Thurman a very tough fight, was up on points against Rios and gave Tim Bradley hell.

        Brook took 6 rounds to get Gavin out, 4 rounds to get Dan out, you really think he takes Chaves out in 6-8? Seems optimistic. We'll see though.
        Brook definitely isn't like Wlad. People have only seem him fight once think he is, but as you say, it's literally the only time I've seen him do that. Maybe if Porter hadn't leaped in head first, it wouldn't have happened.

        I like Chaves - But I don't think you can compare him to Dan & Gavin. With Dan, I think Brook dropped him pretty hard in the first or second round and just wanted some rounds, having just come from the stabbing. And obviously wasn't at his best, not sharp etc.

        Against Gavin, he clearly wasn't up for it. I think we can both agree that Brook probably could have ended it a lot sooner if he had decided to step it up, but he sort of just cruised. Of course he can't do that against a Chaves.

        I've seen Chaves 3-4 times. Good fighter, but nothing special. I feel he's been in a few wars and definitely isn't ready to take anything away from Brook coming off almost a year out of the ring if I'm not mistaken.

        I feel like 6-8 is a good prediction. Thurman took him in 9 or 10 right? I feel like Brook is better than that Thurman and also feel like Chaves hasn't improved. But yeah, we'll see.

        People underestimate how strong Brook is. He's an absolutely massive welterweight. Porter said himself he did that and in the lead up was already talking about who he wanted to fight next.

          We could assume Chaves gained experience fighting top fighters, and considered to have better resume than Brook. Don't know exactly what he could exploit knowing that Brook has problems going backwards.

          In my recollection of his Thurman fight he did well when he went on the offense, but he rarely did and chose to meet Thurman in the middle. Brook is another fighter that suffocates in close quarters. He wants distance. Porter tried to nullify it but the ref didn't cooperate and let Brook clinch all day.

          Let's see what happens here.

                    Rios is a natural lightweight or superlightweight, the central point is that the welterweight is a big división for him.

                      God, you don't know ****, man. That fight was the lastttttttttttttt fight of Rios in the lightweight división, that was the fight vs Abril. Rios was making the división of the 135 pounds during 8 years, his debut was in 130 pounds.

                      And that was his natural weight, or maybe the 140 pounds, but no more than that.


                      In 147 he is just a fat guy with short arms.



                      Has the same reach of a natural 112, 118 pounds.
