People who think Ward will outbox GGG from the outside are just crazy. If Ward actually trys to do that he will get KO'd and probably in relatively short order.

he's only really been in one division his entire career yet he wiped out chad dawson who was a lightheavyweigth at a catchweight.
why doesnt ward go up to 175 where big money and big legacy figths await him?
Dawson-Ward was not fought at a catchweight and Ward didn't ask for one. Dawson offered to move down to 168.
Golovkin was willing to fight Chavez jr and Froch at 168 but not Ward. What is your excuse for that?
Ward has done far more for his legacy than Golovkin at this point in their careers. Golovkin is already 33. When is he going to do something for his "legacy?"

Kovalev i would favor vs Ward.
Kovalev is a much more versatile boxer than GGG.
one thing id like to see from GGG is maybe learn the southpaw stance. have some switch hitting capability.
If you want basic, you got Ward for that. Clinch, head butt, run away. Repeat as necessary as long as crooked officials allow you to do so.
Doesn't get any more basic than that. Golovkin will either KTFO Ward or will win an easy UD after Ward gets a taste of GGG power and runs away for the rest of the fight.
And of course, the fight CANNOT be in Oakland.

THERE HAS NEVER BEEN ANY OFFER MADE TO WARD TO FIGHT AT 164.
Then that came out in the media, Loeffler was already in negotiations for the Lemieux fight. There was no way they would be trying to negotiate two major fights at the same time, especially when a Ward fight makes no sense, either financially or career goal wise, for GGG.
I guess people like to make a big spectacle of how ****** they are when they claim there were actual fight offers and talks going on when they know damn well there were not. Nice to see people who are not afraid to admit their idiocy.

Golovkin never accepted a fight with Ward and is not willing to fight him above 164 pounds. Stop lying.
Ggg said that he said yes when HBO approached them about it, Ward said no. No denial from Ward, in fact he said recently it wasn't the right time then.

Really the fight will come down to how GGG deals with Ward's inside game. If GGG can do well on the inside, he can break Ward down and stop him late, if not, Ward probably wins a close decision in an ugly fight.
